It's just the reality of things...Mike Perry is a big draw for the JB crowd, and at 80/80k he is good business. Not sure what Pettis was on, but I doubt he is pulling in more than his 150/150 contract. He was getting demolished by not even a journeyman fighter the other night.

UFC is ridiculously cheap. But understandable. He probably won’t become champ again so no point in paying him more than the $8k/8k these new kids are fighting for.

I remember when he was on that Wheaties box back in the day. He was Dana’s golden boy.

He had some serious star potential but he could never live up to it in the end. If he would've had like 4-5 title defences I bet he'd be a huge PPV star.
