Another horrendous fight night

I use to look forward to the fight nights because they would have up and comers fighting for their lives, but now fight night cards feel mainly like C level fighters on the chopping block. I literally am falling asleep as I watch these. These cards have been really bad lately.

5 minute rounds are awesome when you have exciting fights or people going for finishes, but when you get two fighters who want to coast, fight safe, or have a grueling fight with lots of stalling/stalemate positions, it drags on and is painful to watch.

Lazy matchmaking? Not enough incentives?

I don't even bother to tune in to fight nights anymore, it's all shit these days imo. I'd rather spend my time doing anything else.

Worst is the apex, noone gets infected by the atmoshpere to go over their limit.

I'll just be the first to say the apex doesn't effect my enjoyment of the fights in any meaningful way. This fight night was just plain bad and even the sphere couldn't save it

Haha you were one of the lucky ones, you escaped it. It was really hard to watch, I was sleepy watching it + I missed you so much on playbyplay, its not the same without you. But I don't blame ya for skipping it, it makes the 2002 King of the Cage events from the Native American reservations look like a final of Pride GP. UFC 2025 has been rough lol

Its crazy, I have went over 4 events without watching a single fight. I usually would watch at least one fight. But i have no interest in anything lately, and i don't even pay anymore. I been more entertained spending my time in the Mayberry, and War room these past 6 months.

I've been a casual for awhile, and been reading/hearing about it happening to many others. Most of the viewer mails on one of my podcasts say this as well. I guess they're gaining more new fans than losing old ones.

I'd say its been 2-2 the past 4 weeks, i thought Dolidze/Vettori and Mexico City were good cards but London and this one werent.
Theres good cards and theres bad cards, just move on to the next one, endlessly bitching about it on here aint going to do anything.
