Another horrendous fight night

3 Fight Night's ago was pretty great. It does happen from time to time.
 
Sorry SA, any other time I'd have your back but I can't stand with you on this. If the "don't like it don't watch" approach actually worked, Disney would've gone bankrupt by now and ceased to exist.
 
Yeah the stream was spotty as well. Just utter dog shit by Uncle Dana. Maybe he should just retire already
 
I thought it was a bad card but this is literally the first one of the year to be like this and the bast fights

Last week was the Mexico City Card right, that was amazing! Did you watch PFL on Thursday or Oktagon (whatever its called) today, not really exciting either? I am not sure what people really want from this sport but I do agree that today was weird and had very strange match ups plus the way Murphy holds his hands should be illegal and it had me wincing every time Emmmit would close the distance but whatever

Not sure if their schedule forces them to have 8 hour cards all around, but if not, I think they would benefit greatly from making the APEX cards 4-5 fights max like DWCS. That would help them not have to sign anybody and everybody as many of them are not UFC level fighters.

The UFC isn't "forced" to do anything. Their business model is to fill cards with cheap labor to maximize profits. There are more than enough high-level fighters to consistently put on great cards. Instead, they shelve their high-end talent for long stretches to purposely water down the cards. People seem to miss this point - many of the top guys want to fight more often, but the UFC keeps them on ice.

Also, while people blame the espn deal for the high number of cards, the reality is that the UFC was actually putting on a similar number of cards before the espn deal.

I totally agree on the lower weight classes dragging down the excitement. Midgets and girls fighting doesn't carry the same excitement as 155 and above (outside of legit top level fights)
 
I agree the card was terrible … but I’m married with children - I don’t go out … so what else to watch on a Saturday night

There was plenty of stalling on the cage. So I guess that might qualify as bisexual fighting? Not on the ground but basically grappling on the cage

I literally msgd my betting group chat saying bisping is killing me with his commentary … he says the most unintentionally funny shit - usually saying something wrong but in a funny way
