Silva vs Sonnen III
Dear God, no. Sonnen folded like WWE chair last time.
Silva vs Sonnen III
It kinda of is. How many checked leg kicks occur in the UFC? And how many of them have resulted in leg breaks? Only 2 times out of what I'm guessing is thousands of leg checks.
Weidman, who earned his belt with an upset victory in July, also dominated the first round of the rematch, pinning Silva to the mat and punishing him with blows. In the second, Weidman used his knee to stop Silva
Posted this in another thread...and btw, I wish the break hadn't have happened so Chris could have gotten a more conventional win.
He was intending to hurt the leg, not just check the kick. He didn't realize the damage would be as great as it was.
A leg breaking due to checking a leg kick is a freak accident, Weidman was not trying to end the fight thus it's a fluke/freak accident whatever anyone wants to call it.It's not a freak accident when the leg check was intentional.

Call it whatever you want but the fact is when a fighter is checking a leg kick he is not trying to finish the fight he isn't even on offense. There is nothing accidental about it. Weidman was absolutely trying to do as much damage as he could to that leg.
Oh boy if Andy loses to Bisping. Lol
Hey so by the way who actually owns Silvas soul right now? Does he still have it or does Weidman own it the same way Mir has Big Nogs?
Feed Bisping to Silva if he comes back.

Anderson is 6 months of rehab away from a UFC return. Let's not put the horse before the cart.
Anderson will get a crack at the title immediately if he chooses to do so. He's earned that right.
