All Time GOAT poll

No contest. Do you know what it means? If you cheat, you lose.
Literally, Jon Jones seperated DC from consciousness in front of millions of viewers.

Do you know what literally means? Is you’re your reading comprehension and grammar that subpar?

Not officially. Officially, Jones is a cheater and one of the wins turned into a no contest.

Who knows what would happen between these two if the snitch wasn't fed up with steroids?
We saw it at UFC 182 when Jones dominated DC for 5 rounds. DC will never beat him. Don't let your hate blind you.

LOL so you name 1 guy who beat Fedor and 1 guy who never fought Fedor (Because Fedor lost before even reaching him). Greaaat argument.
Brock, Cain, Carwin, Mir, JDS, Big Nog, and Nelson
vs
Werdum, Fedor, Overeem, Bigfoot, Barnett, Arlovski, and Kharitonov

It's kind of a wash.

You have a very pessimistic view of George's achievements. As much as he was injured back between his Shields and Condit fight, that's something he couldn't of controlled. He came back from an ACL tear and unified his belt. You can twist it any way you want, but George won his first UFC belt back in 2006, and 12 years later, beat Michael Bisping for the MW belt. Who has had 12 years between their first and last UFC title win? The closest one is Silva, but Silva is 1-5-0 1 NC since 2012. Jones would need to still be winning in 2023 to achieve this.
It's crazy how after all these years, Matt Serra is still being mentioned. George demolished him in the rematch and Serra never got close to a title shot again. This proves it was a "fluke".
It proves he got beat . Fluke indeed.. By a mediocre fighter while in his prime. By your logic.. A guy could win a belt in his first ufc fight. . Say he came from another org and was a top guy who came in and got the shot right off. . Then he could retire.. .or leave the ufc and work at taco bell.. Come back 15 years later and get another title shot which he wins... And be a undefeated champ for 15 years.

GSP signed with the UFC in 2004, he had a 5-0 record, he lost his first title fight to Matt Hudges. You're making it seem like GSP has been retired for most of his career, he hasn't.

What are you talking about? We discussed possible "superior" ufc champs that never fought fedor 2006-2010 and myth about ufc great hw div.

brock, randy and mir, wow, so dominant and great opposition.

Man, your original premise was that Fedor fought the big UFC names. Then you act like Cormier and Werdum fighting in strikefrorce proves your point even though Fedor didn't beat them. How exactly does that help your argument?

He tapped to the armbar, not a choke.

What do you not understand about that?

LOL he didn't throw his hips up, the arm wasn't even overextended. I know you don't like watching Fedor lose but you should really rewatch. He tapped to the choke. If he tapped to the armbar then thats such a weak tap because the armbar wasn't even fully committed.

It's kind of a wash.

But Fedor never fought Overeem, Barnett, Kharitonov and he lost to Werdum. The original premise was that Fedor fought most the best HWs of his era. This is not the case.

The UFC HW champions during Fedor's reign of 2003-2010 were:
  • Tim Sylvia (Fedor defeated him)
  • Frank Mir (Fedor defeated him)
  • Andrei Arlvoski (Fedor defeated him)
  • Randy Couture
  • Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (Fedor defeated him)
  • Brock Lesnar
Enjoy.

Good poll. I have Fedor over GSP, but no one can deny Georges's resume.

So, the book are closed, and the MMA's GOAT is GSP?
Sounds right to me.

There has been dozens of these polls, Fedor has won most of them.

GOAT is subjective and based on personal preference, the case will never be closed.

At least the two best are 1-2 in the poll.

What are you talking about? Fedor never has a chance of winning goat polls outside of this small forum.
https://www.mmafighting.com/2018/7/...-does-daniel-cormier-stand-in-the-goat-debate
Gsp:4216 votes
Cormier: 2214 votes.

Fedor: 693 votes.<36>

Just accept it, fedor is irrelevant and no one thinks he's the goat outside of this forum

Cain
JDS
Aldo
Werdum
Penn
GSP
Shields
Sonnen
Cowboy
Ronda
Hughes
Griffin
Bader
Rampage
Wanderlei
Aoki
Mousasi
Khabib
Hendo
Condit
Mendes
Korean Zombie
Poirier
Faber
Castillo

And since Jones is your boy:
It should also be mentioned that in 2014, Jon Jones did an interview with sports talk Baltimore and when asked who was the greatest fighter he's ever seen, Jon Jones said, "No doubt it's Fedor. No one else comes close."

All called him GOAT. Again, GOAT is subjective and personal, you fucking edgelord.

Imagine dedicating your existence to hating a humble, well rounded, amazing fighter. Says more about you than anything else.
