All Time GOAT poll

No one thinks Khabib could be the Goat ? He destroyed every single of his opponent, lost only one round and is 28-0.

Nah only people that think Khabib is GOAT at this stage in his career are related to him. Come at me bro

Yeah, that's got to count for something. A record like that is ludicrous. But then there are two kinds of "Greatest of all time." One on relative terms...in terms of one's body weight and class, and absolute terms....the actually Baddest Dude on the planet, period. And that's going to probably have to be a heavyweight.

He has numbers but he lacks a couple of names to be in the conversation, IMO.
But he's getting there. A win over Ferguson would have helped his claim, but....

<28>

His last finish in a fight was dec 2019.
Jon Jones 2018.
Anderson 2012 (damn).
GSP 2017.
Fedor is in there to kill or be killed.
A real mans man.
Your favorite fighters favorite fighter.
He might get ktfo sometimes or he might take alot of damage, but that is the mark of a true warrior.

That "finish" of "Rampage" is bullshit. All his other wins since losing three in a row are against unranked fighters.

I have always loved watching Fedor fight. He was a monster in his day. Best HW so far, but you just can't be the greatest of all time with so many unranked wins and freakshow fights. Not to mention he has one of the longest reigns at the top with the least amount of title defenses and has never fought in the UFC.

Great fighter and a class act, no doubt, but not the GOAT. I'm sorry, guys.

The GOAT is Fedor.
Everyone should know that.
Based on beating middleweights and freakshow fights and K1 fighters?
Fedor beat Cro cop and Nog.
Randleman? Even Sakuraba beat him without taking a slam.
Maybe you can add Sylvia and Arlovski but at the time they were losing to everyone.

Good to see that an old acct like mine thinks the same way.
Most seem to fall into nostalgia.
Fedor and Sakuraba(who was a WW without cutting weight) and Minowa have a lot of opponents in common.
That should tell you the lack of quality wins Fedor had.
Not his fault, he didn't duck anyone(maybe UberReem for good reason) but he is just not the goat.
Also he was in big trouble in many of his wins.

Gotta go with Jones. He has fought the best at the highest level consistently. Khabib close second.

It amazes me how many people don't think Johnson(MM) should be in the conversation.

It should seem obvious that the answer is Fedor. I understand the respect given to weight classes. But The Greatest of All Time should go to the dude who was the living breathing baddest man who ever walked into an MMA octagon or ring. That's Fedor Emelianenko. Sure, we see the present far more clearly than the past. We are myopic in our thinking sometimes. But from early 2000s to 2011, Fedor was almost a ghost story. A myth. A spook story you told your children. A special attraction. The boogieman who came out, with that blank, muddy stare...and mutilated human beings...with a facial expression that looked like he was doing a crossword puzzle. He was worse than a monster. A monster is big scary, snarls a lot and growls and is terrifying. Fedor was more like whatever it is monsters have nightmares about. Not since Mike Tyson has anyone had such an aura of intimidation. I'd say Jon Jones, who is ostensibly undefeated for 12 years, against great competition, has to be 2nd, followed by Anderson Silva who was a terminator for about 6 -7 years. Then GSP, who was smaller, would be 4th. A prime Jones vs a prime Fedor....I'm not sure who would win that one. But since that one is pretty much a stalemate, I give it to Fedor since he was a force of nature.

Jones was roided out for most of his career, so he will never be the GOAT. Also, once he starts losing, people will jump off his bandwagon like it was on fire. It’s easy to call someone the GOAT before their downfall changes everything. GSP knew his legacy would go down the toilet once there were gifs of him getting ktfo’d, so he retired. Then only came back to fight the weakest MW “champ” in UFC history.

Undisputed, untainted GOAT.

Fedor is like a lot of people's first love. Remember more with feelings than facts.

Prime Brock would have been a handful for anyone. It is unfortunate he had health problems.

GSP probably has the most timeless style or lack of style. He was extremely well rounded.

Lesnar was full of PEDs
GSP can't be the GOAT

In any timeline, he would be a handful. He was a legit 280 lbs NCAA wrestling champion. He handled Mir and Couture (yes, he was old) like it was nothing. There isn't anything that makes him not a freak and everyone he was fighting was juiced.

in the conversation but he’s on the slide now and didn’t overtake any of the 4 front runners. The 125 division wasn’t highly thought of during his run... or still isn’t. That really hurts his case, even at 145 the guys Aldo was beating we’re much higher regarded. He’s outside the top 5 for me.
