Media Alex Pereira is spending time in Australia instead of training against ankalaev.

He's very insecure about this fight, that's why he rated Ankalaev lower than everyone else in that recent fighter rating video he did. Now he's trying to make it look like he's not training hard so that afterwards he'll have a psychological excuse (a la what early career Jon Jones admitted to). I would love to see him win this fight but I would bet my money on Ank.

wow that's really insightful, what else is going on in his camp? how does he feel about his training partners? how about his relationship with his family, how does he feel about his cousins?

Maybe he’s been training in Australia, I’ve heard they have gyms there.
Any good world renowned wrestling gym in australia ? Quite not sure....i really want pereira to win this fight but its hard to see him not taking this very seriously....hell even his coach plinio cruz is there partying with him.

He seems to perpetually be traveling.

It's quite bizarre actually.

Not too long ago he was in Korea beating the piss out of some Youtuber.

Nothing really makes sense about his career, he got his blackbelt within like 4 years of training, when he seems to spend half his time traveling doing promotional tours.

Luckily for him he's had tailor made match-ups all throughout his career like Conor.

Maybe he digs traveling as much or even more than fighting. A fighting career facilitates travel in more ways than one. I'm happy for the guy assuming this is what he loves.

Don’t think it’s that deep dude. Loool

Alex Pereira literally travels the world — specifically to train with different people, so as to acclimate / expose himself to different styles / techniques — while enjoying his life.

I can't think of any MMA fighter who intentionally exposes himself to more different styles, gyms, and fellow fighters than Pereira. This lifestyle is literally his mantra.

This thread is daft AF.

Welcome to the Sherdog Shookologist forum. Where opinions are many, speculation is wild and nothing is factual...🤡

"Pereira was seen changing tires at an auto shop in Thailand! He must be getting drunk again and banging lady-boys!! It's a wrap folks! The Ankalaev era is here!!"

Lets hope he doesn't catch that Australian herpes out there from some vicious spider. He is married afterall

Also, if we're going to GRASP as conjectures, I'd add that Ank generally seems like a far, far more insecure guy.
