it's so important that Pico gets the KO in this fight. after Islam and Top retire, Pico would be A-side of the whole UFC, not just his division.

Man imagine if the top of the division becomes Murphy and Evloev. I'm sorry but I root against fighters who cruise to decisions. Hope Pico brings some excitement. I'm really glad Evloev backed out now the group here crying about his title shot can be quiet for awhile, he probably would've pulled out. Rather see guys like Lopes and Jean Silva hold down the top 5.

Its hard to express what a bonkers step up in competition Movsar was going to be. Lerone is a fine fight, and good step up in competition, and I think a lot more reasonable a task for Pico. Aaron has been fighting guys (his last 3 below) that with respect, would be UFC Gym instructors.


Henry Corrales - 38 years old (21-8) coming off a loss. KO'd Pico when he was suitably young. Lost every fight against someone you've heard of, other than beating Pico.

Pedro Carvalho - (13-10) when Pico fought him he lost 4 of his last 6 and would lose his next 3, never winning another fight.

James Gonzalez - (11-8) B-league journeyman, loses 2 of his next 3 after fighting Pico.

LOL @ anyone suggesting Evloev now gets a title shot. They didn’t want to give him one to start off with so they’re not gonna reward him one now after pulling out of a co-main event. If anything it probably means he’s going to need 2 more fights to get one.

I suspect they’ve promised Murphy a shot if he wins this as a reward for taking it on short notice.
