Yea something like that. Since alot of times my lifting is 4 or 5 days apart I figure I can handle the multiple dead sessions in a row. I think I could squat and may do some volume stuff thrown in there but I need to get this groin pull to heal and it won't going heavy and low.

Looking at SLDL for my dl assistance one day but not sure on the other, shrugs came to mind but I perfer them on bench days. Powercleans maybe? or heavy rack pulls
 
Yep, RDLs, cleans, or clean pulls would work. You could also do hack squats to keep your quads thoroughly strengthened while you're on a squatting hiatus.
 
Leaning towards clean pulls, since it kills two birds with one stone for me.

You make it sound so simple, but somehow I can't keep track of the day of the week much less the date recently. I guess I'm getting old.

I got up way too early and made it to the gym cause I got stuff all day,

My best deadlifts were when my entire body was tight, except for my arms

Yea I am, they are challenging. Although I had to greatly reduce the weight I was working at I feel like they are leading toward more postive results due to the greater ROM.

Today my hamstrings and glutes are sore/tight but no back pain what so ever.

I was going to make the gym today and do bench but it will wait til tommorrow.

Yea, thats what I imagine about deficit deads. The "posterior chain" totally takes more work because of the reduced starting height, while the lower back is used to heavier weights, so no pain there.
 
this log has made me decide to do deficit deads on thursday. just for shit/giggle. sounds cool
