What are talking about, they gave the Sinai back to Egypt for a peace treaty and settled/respected the Israeli-Jordanian borders with their peace treaty. They would do the same with the Palestinians.

The footage from the Israeli counterstrikes are showing targets have secondary and tertiary explosions after impact. I.e they are hitting the rocket supplies their Intel told them about.

If Hamas decided to store their rockets in civilian heavy populated areas, the israelis don't exactly have a choice. They have to target them to prevent them from firing them into Israel and destroy the stockpiles. That's on hamas.
