Afaik the problem is that the Israeli Supreme Court's ruled that these guys from a specific area have got to vacate these homes and turn it over to the Israelis / Jews.
Because back in the day (pre 1950s?) it belonged to them and they had to vacate it and run.

Israel recently indicated it was going to kick out 8 Palestinians familes in East Jerusalem. This is a belligerent action, it is the continuation of the territorial conquest Israel has been carrying out for decades. The rocket attakcs came after Israel raided the Al Aqsa mosque because of Palestinian protesters on the ground, who were protesting Israel's decision to kick out the 8 Palestinian families from their homes. Palestinian action is a response to Israeli oppression.

You wont get the results you want. The best way to have that was the Arab league and that sailed post 2014 and let alone post 2020 after all these Israel Arab peace deals and economic ties. So he is being practical. No amount of debating on here the human rights will change Pelosi or Schumer or Bidens mind. And its not like the Chinese or Russians or Saudis care either. Also I think we should just leave the region entirely and cut off aid to Israel. But with that said it is insane to think it would be smart for Israel to allow all those Palestinians into their lands. The best solution is a high wall between Israel and the Palestinians with no gate. Give them the land they are own. With a warning any attack from them will be a declaration of all out war. Then the two countries have nothing to do with each other.
