Rewatch 17 years ago, Hong Man Choi had Fedor scared

People like to talk shit about Choi but not many HW champions would risk a fight against him, I'm positive the incumbent would not.

Those were fake fights... why don't people understand this

Lmao. The gift that keeps giving.

Anderson fans coping to this day about those fights, and about how Weidman crushed Bumderoid. .

I’d say his prime was probably his streak from Leben-Weidman 1 but I’m not a knuckle dragger and understand what prime means
LOL.

Convenient that Anderson's prime starts and ends between him wining and losing fights.

Nevermind that he was already an experienced fighter when he got destroyed by middling bums.

Let's be more accurate. Anderson's prime started when hopped on the juice.

You think Anderson silva couldn't beat a pro wrestler that couldn't beat anyone as a -1500 favorite when the opponent was managed by the actual yakuza who owned pride.... and I'm the silly one... got it.

Luckily Anderson didn't fire his management and even threaten them with shot guns and leave the team....

Dude I'm not even being a Silva spawn... pride had soo many fixed fights literally just find out of a actor was involved fixed.

What about Heath Herring vs. Giant Silva?

i don't know. the other thing is, i'm pretty sure the decision is left up to the smaller fighter. they can allow the knees if they want.

i never heard of Pride having "soo many fixed fights". they had Coleman vs Takada. you're acting like this is public knowledge or blatantly obvious when in reality all it is is your own theory. nobody has provided evidence. the only reason we know Coleman vs Takada was a fix is because Coleman all but admitted to it.

Rampage jackson had an entire interview discussing it a ton of guys have discussed how fake pride was wtf

I mean the size difference?? Say what you will but that was a badass move by Fedor while being crushed by a giant

Nope Choi is around as tall as Shaq(considering MMA adds and inch or 2 in height).
Regardless even if he was as muscled as Shaq at 216-218cm He is still DWARFED by 229 cm Ming just like we see in the photo Choi is the size of Shaq
Yeah no he's 50 pounds heavier then Yao Ming. We're talking about ring size, not NBA size

If you listened properly, you'd understand that the few fixes were in very early Pride. Silva's losses to Chonan and Takase were not scripted or fake. Takase steamrolled Anderson on the ground for 10 straight minutes until the sub. Chonan was arguably winning the standup before nailing the scissor leg.

Go listen to he and others again, and you should be able to understand things better.
