12 to 6 Elbows in Jones vs Miocic?

True.

But it would be DAMN funny if Stipe uses them to beat Jon. "CURSE YOU 12-6, MY ONLY WEAKNESS! WHY DOES GOD TEST ME SO?!?"
Holy shit I never even thought of this angle. Jones' two losses being the results of 12-6 elbows. Absolute poetry.

who cares these two guys can literaly do anything
they are the most well rounded fighters you can see

The Salt would shut down Dawg Servers for a damn few hours if he does.

This now has me intrigued for this to happen.
GOAT JONES BABY!

I'm sure Jones will be going for them for the principle of the thing if nothing else, to make a point.

But it's funny. All this time we've been arguing that the 12-6 ban was the stupidest there ever was, that 12-6 isn't really more dangerously destructive an angle than any other. Now we're treating it as if Jones is saying "Ah, at last my arm is complete again?"
Now Jon Jones can finally become Exodia

Have all athletic commissions approved this?
No. Many are on the way to though. I think a list would have to be manually compiled by a journalist or something, cuz it's just too much for the public to find out other than on an individual basis

Unified rules were amended. Some could not adopt and approve of it, but they will lose out on business because the UFC is moving forward with it.
No they won't. The UFC plays by the rules of wherever they go and have not banned locations that don't use the unified rules. The majority do use Unified Rules, but the UFC has held events this year in NJ and Toronto, which both don't, so the fighters had to go by the Commission's rules.

What are the differences in NJ and Toronto's "rule" sets? I don't think any of them banned certain strikes that aren't already banned. It's like the UFC holding an event and that state tells them that strikes on the feet are not allowed... UFC would never go for it.

Even just the very tip of the finger touching the ground makes you grounded, making knees to the head illegal in a 3 point stance.
(Remember the whole stink about Allen's illegal knees on Evloev that a bunch of people were calling legal?). Hell, you could be on both feet, but have all your weight against the cage and the ref can consider you grounded.

They also don't use the tier based scoring criteria.

There's a whole bunch of states and territories that use their own rules.

NJ was so against the last rule change that not only did they not accept the rules, but then wrote to the ABC after the Mousasi-Weidman incident using that as an example as to why the ABC should rewrite/remove the rule NJ already didn't accept.
