International Zelensky Rejects Trump's Idiotic "Minerals Deal" - Might Tell The US to go F*ck Itself

I doubt the European armies could win the war at this point. The likes of Britain and Germanys armies are small with shortages of ammunition and I doubt there is much desire from the public to sign up the fight, all the migrants certainly wouldn't sign up to go to Ukraine
Ukraine could win the war on their own with the correct amount of support. They don't need EU troops involved.

They have 1 million men in service. And over 2 million in reserve.

Russia has about 600,000 deployed to Ukraine.

There are several ridiculous demands in Trump's idiotic minerals deal proposal to Ukraine. Demands that no one would sign.

1. Trump is demanding $500 billion back from Ukraine which far outstrips the $100 billion the US gave. And it wasn't cash the US gave either. It was all older equipment we had in storage (Bradley's, a few Abrams, artillery, etc.)

2. The aid given to Ukraine were grants given under Biden. Not loans. You don't give "aid" to a country and then turn around and say "Ok give me 500% back." LMAO WTF who would say yes to that?

3. Trump offered no security guarantees or weapons as part of this great deal. So zero incentive for Ukraine to sign it.

4. Trump is demanding $2 back for every $1 in US aid given in the future. Those are worse rates than borrowing money from the mob and basically usury. Why would they borrow from the US then when they could turn around and borrow from the EU at much more normal rates?

5. Trump threatened to turn off Starlink if Ukraine doesn't sign. Starlink is critical for the war effort because it is relied upon for all the GPS targeting for drones, artillery, communications, etc.

6. Trump basically gave zero reason Ukraine should sign this rip off deal. It just amounts to "Give me your shit."

However, a shitload of leaders from the European countries just came to visit Kyiv in solidarity yesterday. They promised more financial support, including reconstruction of the country after the war.

And crucially said they will increase military support. "We have taken unprecedented actions at the EU level to ramp up European defense industry production, and we will continue to increase our capacity. This will allow us to step up our military support and cooperation with Ukraine while simultaneously strengthening our defense readiness and European sovereignty."

The UK even offered sending troops. Some of the countries even suggested NATO membership.

The collective GDP of all these EU countries absolutely dwarfs Russia by several orders of magnitude. If they truly step up like they say they're going to, Ukraine could just tell the US to go fuck itself with it's bullshit minerals deal.

Europe's Commissioner for Industrial Strategy Stéphane Séjourné offered a much more mutually beneficial minerals deal during the visit as well.

So Trump is being an absolute moron trying to strongarm what is essentially a robbery.

Damn brother, Trump was in office for four years and you didn't learn anything about how he works?

1. Always demand absolutely ridiculous deals that no sensible person would ever take.
2. Meet and negotiate.
3. Get almost exactly what you wanted in the first place(not the ridiculous demands that you voiced in the beginning) and praise opposing side. "That guy took me to the cleaners, he's a very good negotiator, very good."

All of you guys arguing with Trump supporters that are anti Ukraine need to realize that it’s an argument you can’t win with logic. They get their opinion from their great leader. It’s not a conclusion that they reached on their own and you will never be able to talk them out of it. It’s what Trump said, so it’s what they believe.

I don’t think there is any better demonstration of how badly gripped they are by the man. It’s pretty clear cut who the bad guy is here. They say insane, indefensible shit like “you guys just want the war to go on!” No mother fuckers, we want Russia to leave. You know, the country invading a fledgling democracy for no reason other then their own profit?
The proof of this is in the Ukrainian threads they put on their antiwar stay out of "proxy wars" costumes & masks. That we should not be giving aid to foreign countries to fund a war, even if they were invaded by dictator/terrorists.

Then if you go to an Israel/Palestine thread they 100% justify all of the above & then some. Or at best put their heads in the sand for wars that have cost the US more and have had a bigger impact on US foreign policy & relations.

I agree. You cant argue with people who literally change their stance and logic like a chameleon. These are people who either will justify whatever Trump does post fact. Or people who will never admit their REAL justifications for war mongering against one group of people but playing antiwar pacifists with others.
There is no logic to reason with in most of their hypocrisy. They are literally arguing and pushing 2 completely opposite and different foreign policies at the same fkn time with a straight face.

Well considering most of the mineral wealth of Ukraine is in the Donbass, Trump should just wait a while until Russia takes more land, and then just do the mineral deal with Putin.

So the manlet has no say in the matter, but Trump urgently needs his signature for the minerals deal. Makes sense.
Just talking shit. Ukraine is sandwichd fucked in the situation. What i do mean though is that everything europeans do on that front is pretty useless.

Yea that doesn't work when there are 28 other countries involved and you're trying to do a unilateral deal.

This is 100% incorrect. The EU can give additional weapons and/or aid and have promised to do so. And they just passed a new round of sanctions against Russia like yesterday.

and what does that support look like?

I'm not sure your confidence in troop numbers meshes with the reports of manpower shortages in articles like these

More ammo, more vehicles?

How much more though? They've received a lot already and have still been losing fortified positions in the donbass consistently for months now and are apparently short on men. I doubt anything Europe can scrape together is going to compare to what's already been provided by America

At Russia's current rate of progress it's going to take 30 years just to capture the territory they've annexed on paper, you're unrealistically overestimating the progress Russia has made while also lying about the current state of the Ukrainian military.

The Ukrainian military is larger, stronger, and more experienced than when the invasion started.

What a dumb assumption to think the current state of things won't change indefinitely for the side short on manpower

If you knew how things worked you wouldn't be posting on a karate forum, you would be somewhere out there making things happen.

Who knows more about how things work in international deals? The who has done international deals before or the karate forum poster? You have an exaggerated sense of self importance if you think it's the karate forum poster.
