Social Zelensky is TIME's person of the year

When did Russia express the motive that it wants to dominate the world?

That’s what America already does (including the slaughtering).

<Dany07>

"Russian President Vladimir Putin has clearly set the goal of demilitarizing and denazifying Ukraine. These complicated tasks are not fulfilled in the blink of an eye, nor will they be solved only on the battlefields," the deputy head of Russia's Security Council stated.

According to the top official, the most important goal is "to convert the bloodthirsty and the total, fabricated-myth-laden consciousness of some Ukrainians."

"The goal is for the harmony of future generations of Ukrainians and the opportunity to build an open Eurasia from Lisbon to Vladivostok," Medvedev pointed out.

Obama, Alpha'ed that Manlet. Notice how that Horse Jockey, Putin won't look Obama in the eye and Obama has established dominance over the smaller, little man. Every time I see this photo, it looks like Putin is shaking a man's hand who is getting ready to fuck his wife, well.

Or he's listening to that equally slithery snake hiss into his ear. "Yessss, sssstrike Crimeaaaa.Hillary will win 2016 and by then you take Kievvvv."

His administration has been slow rolling support but the answer points to yes,. It has been proposed that a Russian loss is quite dangerous so I imagine whomever is actually doing the strategizing has to take that into account

I* think now is the time if there has ever been one to jump on Russia. But that's just me. I would be assassinated if I was somehow president. All these pussy Americans, "he's gon' get us in another war," while we paid for two decades for Afghanistan etc. Losers.

don’t know what that has to do with your claim.

Russia’s foreign policy is literally a statement against any kind of world hegemony.

Maybe Biden should have used the promise of military support to Ukraine for his own personal benefit like Trump did.

Like when he denied aid to them unless they fired the prosecutor in the Burisma (sp?) case. But CNN didn't do a story on that one. I wouldn't expect you to see that as fact or on your radar at all.

Right after he sics his government on on the UOC.

Janet Yellen? The fuck? That lady is a moron

As for Zelensky... what a change of fortunes for a guy who was once considered one of the most corrupt leaders in Europe.

Person of the year isn't an inherently moral or positive award.

The way he’s depicted here it’s absolutely in a positive and peropogandinistic frame
What would be a neutral framing of him for the cover that is also visually interesting? There aren't exactly many other cover options.

in this thread i learned that some americans love putin and russia more than america.

<BidenShutIt>

It means what it means, they want to start a new Eurasian empire.

They've been threatening to nuke Berlin on their state run propaganda talk shows ffs.

Russian state propaganda has 3 dimensions- moderates, controlled opposition, and crazy hardliners.

the crazy hardliners don’t represent government objectives any more than the controlled opposition that fake-criticizes Putin does

Weird that they are allowed to take part then, don't you think?

I mean, it serves some kind of calculated purpose. I’m not exactly sure what it is.

If I remember correctly- Rupert Murdoch actually helped the Kremlin fine-tune their propaganda machine. If you’re familiar with it you’ll notice similar set up to FOX news.

here’s a crazy idea - how about not treating Russia like an enemy and propping up a hostile state next door that has corruption and tyranny on a larger scale which are supposedly the reasons Russia is problematic.
