International Women in Iran are going without hijabs as the 2nd anniversary of Mahsa Amini’s death approaches

- Several of those woman are like living godess. I thinkj the guys in Iran just dont like woman.

slightly offtopic question, genuinely don't mean to come rude, how "muslim" are you? i generally hear that islam is not compatible with progressives and the religion is compatible with conservative idealogy moreso.
Could be better, could be worse at it.

The entire female population needs to walk outside in solidarity, disrobe completely and march in unison; prepared to die for one of the greatest causes of their time.

Islam is an illness (just like Judaism and Christianity) that must be confronted head on.
Except that that would likely be against their own beliefs... surely there's a middle ground between Sodom & Gomorrah and Convent style.

Lets see if Saudi Arabia changes tone on some women rights.
I really do think Saudis want these but they probably don't want another Grand Mosque seizure. When you have the Hajj as one of the 5 pillars, you don't want to waver before other Muslim countries. Some non-arab countries have governments that try to out arab actual arabs.

There is no place in the world that needs feminism more than the middle east. It is concerning that the left cowers away from calling it out. There is a reason why so many christian and atheist arabs flee Iran or Afghanistan....Islamic Fascism is more oppressive than plain ole fascism imo....

But "the left" isn't some abstract identity that goes around the world picking and choosing what to focus on. It's a political direction mostly made up of people in that particular society.

The women activists involved in this can certainly be considered "the left" in Iran.

- Those woman are very brave. I know a bunch o adults that are afraid of a vacine, and those ladies are willing to die for freedom. Literally over their dead bodies! @fingercuffs

Iranians in general are less zealous than portrayed. And the younger ones more so the case. I definitely would expect this kind of trend to continue.
