We have small dogs. A half Maltese half yorkie boy and a 3/4 yorkie and the rest maltese. They're sooo quiet and chill.

The girl dog was in heat this past week and half... (i think its almost over) and the boy dog even though his balls are deflated like the patriots, he was/is trying to bang the whole time. It's hilarious

I've grown much more fond of smaller dogs as I've gotten older.

Giant schnauzers

Standard schnauzer (which I own - this is elvis)

and a mini schnauzer

they would all hang out and be cool and have fun and id walk them in line from right to left from largest to smollest.

I have an Anatolian Shepherd that's 80 lbs of fantastic love, smiles and goofiness. My last dog was a Golden Retriever St Bernard mix, and he was the best fucking dog ever. My current one is the 2nd best I've ever had.

Always a fan of Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Rottweilers, Great Pyrenees, and others. I've always wanted a Leonberger, and almost got one but it was a foster fail before I got the chance.

I remember chatting to you re that and your wife wanting a non shedding dog for the kids!!

First one I believe was a guy in the bodybuilding forum dressing him up to make him look alpha so he can pick up chicks. Gangsta Golden does win. I do remember it being post there years ago.

The second one that is frowning is supposed to be a golden from Iran and a new law does not allow regular folks to own a dog except the police and farmers. So apparently the golden is pissed off because the owner didn't want to give him up and he took a beating and retriever is super pissed to be separated but is more hardened up living in a farm.

I don't know if second story is true because his pic has been attached to different stories.

Husky dad, here.

They're awesome once they get out of the "chew up all your shit" phase.

And they shed like crazy.

Still, they're super loveable dogs.

The trade-off is worth it, IMO

This, and the fact they need 2 hours of exercise and a large yard were the factors that convinced me to go the English Bull Terrier route.

But, damn, I want to get a husky one day.

And I REALLY hate the concept of the 'chew up all your shit' phase because I have leather furniture. I know all of it might as well be a 'multi-thousand-dollar' chew toy.
