I think the protagonist has anterior amnesia but I only saw the film once though

I found Inception a bit boring so I went with The Prestige and Oppenheimer

Surprised at the lack of love for Oppenheimer. I saw it earlier this year and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

It gave me confidence that Nolan still has it after being disappointed with Dunkirk and hearing that Tenet sucked.

I thought Tenet was good but I can see why some did not like it

Memento and Oppenheimer knocked off Dark Knight. I didn't like Tenet or The Dark Knight Rises or Interstellar or Dunkirk. I think Christopher Nolan is a tad overrated if anything. Just a bit though, he generally makes good movies, but he isn't this filmmaking god that some like to make him out to be IMO.

Never thought TDK was that good. I mean ledger did good as Joker and was a great opening scene ...... after first 1/3 of movie which was really good the last 2/3 were pretty meh .

I've only seen Memento once and I absolutely hated it. Though, I picked it for more of a date movie and it was a horrible boring choice for that. So maybe I should revisit it on my own and try it again. Tenet was boring as all fuck and just not interesting at all. The Dark Knight Rises was an abomination and terrible way to end the trilogy. Just an outright slap in the face to fans of the first two magnificent films. Dunkirk was meh. Not something I ever need to see again. Interstellar was pretty good. I liked it. I haven't seen Oppenheimer yet. Batman Begins/The Dark Knight/Inception were all amazing, top tier.

When Nolan is on, he's 10/10. When he misses, at least the spectacle is still there.

Nolan has 8 films in IMDb's Top 250 films of all time which is the most for any director. Most would say hes the best director in the last 25 years.

I on the other hand only think he has 2 great/Excellent films (Prestige & dark knight)
Batman Begins is good as well as Insomnia (only because of Robin/Pacino) but prefer the other 2 over it.

I don't like interstellar like that and I think inception is kind of dumb & overrated.

So give me Prestige & dark knight and you can keep the rest.

I have beef with Interstellar‘s ending but I do think it‘s a masterpiece.

Tenet, Interstellar and Inception are 3 of the most overrated films ever.

Tenet was horseshit compared with the other two and Interstellar is leagues above Inception imo

Ending for Interstellar is terrible. It's relies on the same time-loop premise as Tenet.
