this reminds me when people took me to Katz's in NY to have some sandwich and everybody was like a comedy prop in there, from customers to people making the food. i got the uncanny valley feeling, like i was living in a film studio, and some dude yelled at me for taking too long and i had some expensive sandwich with 2 pounds of beef in it and left. christ what a racket.
never went back again.

It's when they can see through your obvious agenda. You entered the Rittenhouse thread knowing nothing of the case(guy who prides himself on "knowing the facts"), and tried to state a bunch of now refuted, irrelevant shit, to point to his guilt.

It's not a matter of understanding your wording. It's a matter of people knowing you're a hack and not giving you the benefit of the doubt.
