Given similar circumstances.

Or Fedor is just different warrior breed? Different mentality?

I think Fedor would love the opportunity to fight a young hungry fighter like Aspinall.

Who's well rounded, it would be a great challenge for him.

And an amazing to test his skillset.

Emelianenko has always been a man, he didn't have any of these frills. A fight was scheduled and Pegasus' meteor would come for sure

Reem, Brock, Barnett and Kharitanov werent his brothers though.
He did sign to fight Barnett though and Josh failed a test(Josh turned down the fight on NYE 2006 as well although perhaps unstandbly so coming off such a tough run) whilst Sergei lost to Aleks at the point a fight might have happened in 2006.

Reem ultimately was down to both his choosing to fight K-1 and Coker not wanting to book it until he'd built them up more, don't think he never turned the fight down although he was asking for enhanced testing which in retrospect doesn't seem unreasonable.

Lesnar really comes down to contract talks between Dana and Vadim(who he was signed to by that point, not just high manager but a promoter) and I think contract talks would really be all that could hold a fight up, Fedor had issues with Pride in 2003 as well when he was sposed to fight Mirko and the Nog/Mirko fight happened instead.

Its pretty obvious though Jones has been a massive duck for year and years now, ran to HW to avoid rematching Reyes, ran from Ngannou and now from Aspinall, Jones is the biggest duck in MMA history bar none.

Fedor is the goat, and I definitely think he would have eventually fought Aspinall, but "without hesitation"? Don't know about that. He delayed that cro cop fight for a while iirc. Had cro cop fight a bunch of his teammates first too.

Fedor would have his manager put unreasonable demands on fighting Aspinall, then take an easier fight against Jail Almeida and get subbed. Then he’d fight aging former middleweight Alex Pereira and get knocked out.

ufc champs are so picky and pampered nowadays
they dont qualify for goats imo and dont belong in the same league as fedor

You're right Hendo vs 37 year old Jon wouldnt be competitive, but age isnt the only factor there. Jon has had 30 fights total, Fedor had that many by the time he was 31, plus mileage from his sambo career on top of that. Jon has had the size advantage over almost all of his opponents, while Fedor was like 5'11 and chubby competing at HW. Jon is a very safety first fighter and used his exceptional reach to stay out of trouble and negate damage a lot, while Fedor as a small HW was much more reliant on his explosive speed and durability ie attributes that dont tend to age well.
Jon's reach and kicking game would make the fight one-sided. Someone like Hendo couldn't be competitive with Jon. Jon was a LHW most of his career while Fedor was a HW.

There is probably at least some credence to what you are saying. It doesn't change the fact that it would be a very easy fight for Jon.

Fedor fought Ryan Bader like a year ago. Of course he is still taking on all comers!

Reem, Brock, Barnett and Kharitanov werent his brothers though.
Was he supposed to fight Kharitanov? Never heard of that one.

He was going to fight Barnet, so he obviously wasn't scared of him. Josh was the one that had to pull out.

Strikeforce did not book Fedor vs Overeem. Fedor got eliminated in a tournament and in the same one Overeem got injured or something.

Fedor wasn't in the UFC, so of course he couldn't fight Brock Lesnar. You could just as easily ask why Brock Lesnar didn't fight him.

Fedor ducked Ubereem, so there’s that.

That's a misunderstanding, they were in the same bracket in the Strikeforce tourney. If they both won and continued on fighting the tourney. They would have would head on in the Semi-Finals.

Fedor is afraid of no man.

Fedor would price himself out of the organisation so he doesn't have to fight him.

Fedor did not sign to fight overeem. He was offered the fight multiple times and said no.

Fedor ducked the UFC.
This is not even a question one of Fedor's main principles was taking the harder fights or more challenging opponents, he would jump at the opportunity of facing someone like Aspinall, Fedor during his prime years would purposely beat people at their own strengths that alone is risky, the reason I always prefer Fedor over Jones is that Fedor isn't afraid of losing where as Jones will do anything to maintain his record that's what matters most to him his ego and why he had to take PED's and duck Aspinall over fighting 3 year lay off Stipe, Jones is doesn't want to lose to Aspinall and most champs great legends accept that one day they will pass the torch to the next up and coming talent.
he for sure jumped at the opportunity to fight Zulu. lol. Gtfo with that taking harder fights shit. Ducks the UFC, Goes to the 2nd best org in states, ducks Overeem. Losses to a MW. lol.

If Fedor was Jones in the situation and fought Stipe, you zealots would jumping for joy at that matchup.

To compare chicken heart Jones to Fedor is laughable honestly, and I think probably posts like this are troll jobs at this point. It’s all done under the impression that the general public don’t know that Jones is a duck. They do. The casuals know

It is mainly the co-promotion thing. His American handler Jerry Millen was a bit abrasive towards Dana. They wouldn't budge on that M1/UFC collab. It made no sense. I don't recall Pride ever promoting with M1.
Sounds like a cop out, and I'm quick to say screw ufc and their business practices. Demanding co-promotion when you bring nothing to the table beyond the fighter himself is ridiculous
