Law Woman sues the Military for being too old to join the Military

Reminds me of colonel Kurtz that finished his spec ops training at 37.

"They must have thought he was some far out old man. The next oldest guy on his course was half his age. I dragged my ass through it when I was 20, and it damn near killed me".

I had a coworker throw his back out from sneezing a few years back. I thought that was the most ridiculous thing in the world. Until it happened to me, not funny anymore.

Been there, done that.

Of course, I would never admit it to friends. I claimed to have injured my back Deadlifting 600 pounds for reps. ;)

There should be no age restriction as long as you pass the fitness test.

Some people just don't get it.

"recruiters were quick to urge her to use her legal skills in the military’s Judge Advocate General."

Girl you're a lawyer, you want to join the Navy? Do lawyer stuff for the Navy.

One of my coworkers had this crazy friend years ago in LA who was an aspiring actress.

Attractive but a hot mess mentally. Had an agent, auditioned all the time, never got a big break.

So she's in her early 40s and her agent calls her super excited, he was working with a showrunner on a network legal drama.

She'd have a juicy part in one episode as a tough but hot middle aged lawyer, and if the producers liked her they would write her in for a season long arc as a love interest for a middle aged male main character.

She is offended beyond belief. How could they judge her like this? She thinks at 42 she should only be playing 28-34 year old main characters and this no audition part that's a straight up job offer for a supporting character role bigger than anything she's ever been in is an insult to her.

I think the agent dumped her as a client after she turned it down.
Surprising, if true. From what I hear, unless you already have a big name in the industry, you pretty !ugh have to take what work you can get. Its just too competitive to be passing on anything decent, if you're a small fish.

Either she is an attention whore or brain dead.

She could would never pass BUDS and when she didn't she would sue to say the standers need to be adjusted for her as it more important to be inclusive then to be effective in your mission.

The moral of the story is she passed a great role for her because of mental illness and shat on her chances.

Which brings us back to the thread topic.

Shes just trying cause an issue when there isn't one. However let her try 1 day of hell week and she'll ring that bell. But she may end up trying to sue them for being too harsh.
