Been thinking about this idea, but this post seems to confirm it. The biggest difference between Grasso’s recent success and Aldana’s lack of it is reaction to outside pressure. Aldana completely folded mentally against Nunes. Grasso practically started in 3rd gear against Shevchenko while Aldana couldn’t even get out of neutral. If Aldana wants to have any success in the future, I think she needs to see a sports psychologist

Yeah, it was frustrating to watch Irene's performance on that night, given that she looked pretty cool and confident on fight week.

Also I've been watching the video of that famous stream where Grasso showed her feet (it was a good strean with serious topics btw) and there Alexa mentioned that she started writing a blog. Do you happen to know where is this blog, if it still exists?

Very stoked for this card, especially the main event is a sort of a dream match. Go Ham! =)

And apparently I can again buy this straight from One's website for 5 money, instead of having to fuck about with ridiculous stuff like "Dazn" or "Fite.tv" or whatever those weird platofrms are.... A pity the Amazon thing does not cover my area (though I am not sure what is going on with the youtube stream, probably region blocked and I should buy the direct from One stream, I dunno)

Yay for direct buy and not trying to make me use "Dazn" or something! Or youtube, if that works. Why is asian stuff always so confusing? I have struggeled for years to find out a way to watch Stardom legally from their site because it was in nipponese only and I missed the cleverly hidden "google translate" button (at least I FOUND the site, with some Nipponese promotions it is 100% impossible to even find where they are shown, if anywhere - that was probably my problem with Dream or Pancrase, something)

Anyway! Go Ham!

In retrospect, it was a good fight - both had their moments and while I had Ham in the lead, the attacks to the body were there for Stamp to take, I guess, so maybe something like that was inevitable. Then again, the left hand to face was there for Ham. Still gonna feel bummed about the result for at least eighteen weeks. Will be interesting to see what's next for Ham, now that the "winning everything" tour sadly concluded. She's not gonna get any younger, while still in obviously good shape and health.

One office is likely happy now - they can match up other company faves like Hirata and Chumbawamba (is she still fighting?) vs. Stamp because they have not lost to her already, like they did to Ham.

What a card last night for ONE on Prime.

Prior to the main event Angela Lee announced her retirement from pro MMA. Lee shared that through Fight Story fighters can share their experiences via short documentaries and behind the scenes assistance. The intention being suicide prevention and mental health assistance. She then helped call the main event, now for the undisputed atomweight championship.

Stamp Fairtex vs. Seo Hee Ham – MMA. Ham was doing well in the first couple of rounds. Great seeing both women mixing things up in striking and on the ground. There were some excellent scrambles and arm bar attempts from both women. To start round three Ham came out aggressive. Stamp nailed her with a vicious body shot causing Ham to wince and retreat and that was the beginning of the end. Stamp rushed in with a variety of blows forcing Ham's collapse to the ground and a third round TKO. At 25 Stamp Fairtex has now won ONE championships in Muay Thai, kickboxing and MMA.

Smilla Sundell vs. Allycia Hellen Rodrigues – Muay Thai. Smilla dominated with relentless pressure, using leg kicks, knees and constant elbows to finish Rodrigues. Kudos to Rodrigues for moving up for this bout. Smilla was brutally effective. At just 18 the sky is the limit for her.

Danielle Kelly vs. Jessa Khan – Grappling. In a back and forth contest, Kelly came from behind, picking up the pace to win the rematch and secure the belt.

Jingnan Xiong vs. Nat Jaroonsak – Boxing. Xiong's strong jabs, wild winging hooks and forward pressure proved effective over Wondergirl.

My favorite card this year.

Enjoy the weekend folks.

Well...

Like sherdog's preview... ham really passed the torch to stamp now.

I also thinks she reigns supreme for one or two years...

Unless they decide to match her against xiong

All, looking for examples of standing TKOs. I know there are plenty in mma, just having a hard time thinking of any. Trying to settle an argument of how common they are with some idiot in my YT comments
