Agree. I like Cat and given the damage she took from Amanda this fight should not be happening.

Would be kind of cool to read about Cat defeating Cyborg in some humiliating way. But I have to ask has she legit fallen so far that people wishing she ges out of the fight alive are really worries founded in reality? I have absolutely avoided any and all Cyborg related info since she was shipped off to Bellator (out of sight, out of mind), not even keeping tabs who she's been fighting etc. But it sounds quite, bad, the worries people have for Zingano's health and future :(

Well, drug testing there is even more of a fucking joke that UFC testing and it is not just a case of Cat having fallen off, it is the difficulties she has suffered since the Nunes fight which caused significant long-term damage. When you have concussive trauma to the point where it affects your endocrine system that is the time to stop fighting. And given that Cat still has a chin and Cyborg has never been a one-shot knockout artist (despite whatever weirdo fetish cult she has claiming otherwise) I expect Cat to eat a swarm of punches before she drops.

I really like Zingano and I understand her desire to provide for her child to the best of her ability. But I really think this is a bad decision.

Yeah, I understand the post-Nunes concern.

I was more... I dunno, maybe I am trying my darndest to think that Cat can open with a flying knee or something and just KO Cybor. That is probably completely out of the realms of possibility (or even sanity) for 2023 Zingano, right? :( Like, everyone seems to take it as a given that Cat will get punched a lot and then lose and then it will probably be ugly for her, so yeah... I probably don't just wanna accept that reality.
 
Judges were like "wrestling is fucking illegal, and we don't score wrestling no more" just to annoy @Xuh
And just to check off some boxes, they decided to rob an Asian out of a clear win with the questionable scoring.

Every week I wonder how UFC judging could possibly get worse, and every week they find ways to hit a new low.

Rock bottom always seems to have a sub-basement.
 
Happy for JJ and KK.

All three fights entertained me. Aldrich did sensible boxing to accumulate enough damage to make it a proper fight with blood and evrything, KK and Belbita especially made the third round fast paced and fun - no misguided cruising there. And while I do agree Murata should have been the winner, the fight itself was fun enough - double hammerfists and fistfights on the ground, hehe.

am rewatching tonight's fights - what a good night!

- i liked jj v. Montana - jj looked good as ever and Montana was tough as expected. i think Montana would benefit from a high guard, as damage really does show on the face and may sway judges bc of criteria.

- oh murata :( on rewatch i thought maybe the judges were right? with the damage from the head clash it's harder to tell. can we sic dem onto the young guns at strawweight? that would be so much fun, imagine dem grappling with dudakova or bleda :O it is also time to give murata a softer ball pls

Karolina Kowalkiewicz vs. Diana Belbiţă. So happy for Karolina. Solid performance all the way. Thanks for sharing the post fight interview rizz.

Kanako Murata vs. Vanessa Demopoulos. Murata appeared fresh after a long layoff. My comment on the judges at the time: No way. Good seeing confirmation from you all here.

Montana De La Rosa vs. JJ Aldrich. JJ's scrappy style on full display.

Fell asleep by the end of the card and missed Bellator. Thanks all for sharing comments. Plan to rewatch the ufc fights today while battling a stomach flu.
