Winter sucks.

Okay so over the weekend I guess thanks to the polar vortex we got like 3 feet of snow dumped on us. So I take back everything is said earlier. Welcome to Canada, sheesh. One minute it's 0 degrees and no snow anywhere and the next is -13 and 3 feet of snow out there.

Damn, it's -10 in Chicago right now.

Don't miss that shit in the least bit.

I’ve worked near Chicago the during winter and gotta say that cold wind coming off of Lake Michigan is fucking brutal when it’s cold enough. Even for a Canadian prairie boy.

It might be cliche but some of it really is mental.

This is why our ancestors literally went thousands of years without heating, insulation, fancy insulated clothing, and did just fine. We just need to sack up sometimes.

I enjoy the cold. I need the window opened to blast cold air on the top of my head at night for a nice deep sleep.

Lol at you savages saying you like the cold.

Dry, cracked skin is kicking my arse.

Right hand is looking like a 60 year olds, left is mildly affected. Entire body feels various degrees of burning, depending whether or not my skin has been exposed when running.

New England can get all four seasons in a day. I love it.

Winter is like a forced slow down for me. Work is slow, less sports for kids, earlier nights, etc.

The only good thing about winter is that I don't have to mow the grass.
