It’s a bit chilly here; wind chill is about -40. Trying to get my semi to fire up, odds are not good.

Captain Eskimo here, you know i'm used to the cold and don't have issues with it...unless it gets to -50c (-58f) and below, thats when its too cold.
Jan and Feb tend to be our coldest time of year, so was gearing up for that kinds of temp, but right now, its only -15c (5f)...which is odd. And looking at the four day forecast, its supposed to be 1c (33.8f) on Monday, which is WARRRRRRMMM this time of year. Makes me feel like we're going to have a fricken cold Feb.

I love it. I dig cold/cooler weather. It’s nice having actual change.. I don’t think I’d dig living somewhere where the weather doesn’t change much from month to month and so on.

Nope, those things are spendy! Normally if I keep it plugged in and give it a shot of ether it’ll pop right off, but my batteries are getting weak and need replacing.

Just went out to start my pickup; it has gotten ridiculous. Wind chill is at -64.

Got under 2 inches of snow from Storm Gerri which has moved East. Only the Northern fringes hit here. It's 15F with the wind chill at -2 so not too bad yet. Funny that it's colder in Kansas City than in Northern Wisconsin.

No snow yet this year and none last year but we are supposed to get some next week with the cold front.
I was supposed to be in Florida on an Island for work nov-April but stupid hurricanes destroyed the property I was going to work on. Not mentally prepared for another long winter.
I will say this winter has been mild so far. but December typically isn’t too bad. 52 degrees rn
