Will Tom confront JJ in November?

The whole intent of this is to artificially prop up the empty 5 years of Jon's career fighting only 2 guys artificially pumped up by the UFC (white belt Gane and geriatric Stipe) for the SOLE reason of UFC needing a marketing talking point for who the GOAT is / finally trying to kick Fedor out of the conversation.

So yeah. Herb will ref a Jon/Stipe fight and Jon is retiring after.

He already did, Jones put him on his place, it didn't ended well for Tom.

I think if JJ wins and Aspinall is really there, we might see a little confrontation. you know how UFC loves those moments, it would build up hype for a fight

Christopher ;)

Christopher, I think people signing their names at the end of their posts died off some 20 years ago.

Sincerely,

Domitian

Although this is a different situation, it reminds me of the time Guy Mezger fought Egan Inoue who Is Enson's brother. Enson was already retired and was just there to corner Egan.

Mezger says PRIDE forced him to call out Enson after he won. Mezger didnt want to do it but told Enson what he was told to do, and you see Enson become furious. I dont know if it ever happened after that, but if it did, it wasnt shown on the USA version of te fight.

But this is a diff situation. Enson had already been retired at this point.

He would eventually come in and out of retirement sporadically since then but never fought Guy.

Tom should forget about Jones, he should be asking the UFC for an opponent and go online and start making videos about how he asked Hunter to book his next title defense against a contender on a win streak.

Jones is clearly retiring, he is gonna claim to have beaten the GOAT HW at his prime and Dana wants him to beat someone who beat Francis.

He should absolutely be walking into the Octagon and challenging Jon Jones post UFC 309, and calling him a coward if Jones refuses to engage him.

Dana is a cuck if he doesn't allow Aspinall into the Octagon.
I honestly think part of Dana simping on Jones is just him trying to hype up the fight and sell tickets. I don't get the feeling the UFC is doing terribly well financially, and while it might not be dying, Dana's job might eventually be on the line. If he's that desperate to get PPV sales out of Jon Jones like this, that says a lot about how badly the UFC is doing.

If the above is true, then Dana will 100% let Aspinall into the octagon and encourage him to talk shit to Jon Jones. Dana doesn't benefit from Jon Jones retiring. He will want to get another fight out of Jon Jones, and the best way to do that is to have Aspinall provoke him and get him angry. Ruining his UFC 309 post-fight interview could be a good start to that.

Dana is an opportunistic piece of shit. We could see him do a complete 180 on Jon Jones and see him start calling Jon Jones a coward for ducking Aspinall, if Jon holds onto the belt without defending or vacating.

Let's say JJ defeats Stipe... Aspinall said he'd be there to, if someone retires, receive that belt from the winner personally. Do you think there will be some sort of confrontation between Aspinall and Jon Jones?
yes he will
but after jones sees his trash resume
jones declines

poatan miraculously won the HW belt
poatan is a 3 division champ miraculously
jones comes back
fights a big name
jones haters cry

Face off in the cage, sucker punch Jones and knock him out, take the belt and walk away with it.
<{JustBleed}>

Hope not. Best thing to do would be to ignore Jones at this point. He's just giving the homo the attention he craves.

If Jones retires the Aspinall will let him have his moment. If he says he's staying then Aspinall probably going in the cage. Honestly the fight is a win-win.

I think the UFC will push for it and make a face off. But it will be civil
