Will Dana ever agree to give Wand a % ?

this i knew what title shot ts was talking about but i didnt join in 03 but that title shot isnt very relative quite frankly. i wish he got a shot during his 2nd run that wouldve been interesting

He'd have to earn it. That's hard when you're getting knocked out by Leben in under a minute.

Anyone with a brain?

Sure thing Mr. Derpalot, Forrest and Rashad are much bigger superstars than a globally marketed and trade mark branded legend of the sport for the past decade.

Can you direct me to the closest Forrest Griffin online store for merchandise?
Or can I sign up for a Rashad Evan's seminar in Australia? Maybe hook me up with the address for Team Suga' Fight Gym?

“The top five pay-per-view draws in this company are Georges St-Pierre, Anderson Silva, Chael Sonnen makes the list now, Jon Jones and Rashad Evans,” White stated.

Rashad > Wand. That's a fact. Check their PPV numbers.

At the time of 92, I'd say Forrest was a bigger draw being the original TUF winner and pretty much had the image of the blue collar white guy the American fans love.

Insult me all you want, post pics of Wand's gyms but PPV numbers don't lie. Rashad probably gets a %, Wand doesn't. There's a reason for that.

EDIT: Forgot to add, that UFC's PPV market is mostly in North America, I'm not sure if Aussies have it on a channel like the brits or they buy PPVs like Americans. Point is, here in America, as evidenced by PPV buyrates Wand is not a big draw. He does not deserve PPV points for getting his ass handled by Chael.

nope wont give any fighter ppv % unless he is the champ. the greed in the ufc is HUGE, only challenged by the HUGE profits they make.

If anyone on these forums thinks for one second that Chael Sonnen does not or has never received a big undisclosed cheque on top of his earnings for how he hypes fights...Is a complete idiot.

I am sure if Dana tells Wand hell do the same for him in an undisclosed manner it would work for Wand.

Dana just doesnt want every fighter to start asking for it.

Very true....im sure there are many back room bonuses for fighters. I think Dana has even said there are

Chael isn't making ridiculous demands to accept the Wand fight. So how does that matter in the slightest?

Well

Chael goes around saying he is one of the best ppv sellers

Which is bs unless you are one of his dumb fans and believe it

And many of his fans think he is some giant

If you are telling me that people bought the Wand-Rampage III PPV in order to watch Forrest/Rashad, I literally don't have any argument back for you.
But Scorpion was always my favourite in MK. Good call.

UFC 92.
Interim Heavyweight Championship bout: Ant

Chael says that, because his boss - Dana - has included his name in the top PPV draws.

That's not making crazy demands

Slightly off-topic, but do you always pick Wand and Shogun in any fight that gets announced? Because I've never seen you pick against them even when it's obvious they don't have anything but a puncher's chance.

lol the Wand nut hugging is hilarious. This isn't pride. Wand doesn't create a huge draw in america. The dude is washed up, since 2006 he is 5-7... in the ufc he is 5-7, the second coming of wand in the ufc he is 4-5. His wins are Brian Stann, Keith Jardine, Mike Bisping and Cung Le... He does not even come close to deserving a ppv % at this point. The ppv's with 1m and 750k buys were from the other fighters headlining the show and not Wand.

http://www.mmamania.com/2013/3/5/40...ewers-ratings-record-silva-vs-stann-japan-mma - 485k Viewers, but not ppv buys.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_139 290k buys

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_132 350k buys

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_110 240k buys

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_99 360k buys

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_92 1 million buys

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_84 475k buys

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_79 750k+ buys

Say what you will but clearly the buy rates have fallen since Wand came to the UFC in 2007, and he's still averaging good numbers. Not to mention he has earned 3 FOTN bonuses in the last 3 fights, has 5 total FOTN bonuses out of 9 total UFC fights, and has 2 KO's in his last 3 fights. He also arguably beat Franklin both fights and had him knocked out on his feet in the last fight as stated by Rich.

The numbers you posted are average, regardless of your assertion that ppv buys are down (they very well may be, but just look at UFC's PPV Buys hosted in a similar time frame).

UFC 92 had 2 belts on the line and Wand wasn't fighting for either of them.

Idiot alert!

If you think for one second that Wand is not a draw then you are the biggest moron on these forums....BTW you do realize the UFC 99 vs Franklin was free for many areas of the world right?

Do we really need to call people with an opposing opinion idiots? You're just making yourself look bad.

He was talking about UFC 92 anyway, not 99.

Against Tito.

This is why join date matters.

No, it's why not being a douche matters. Not everyone will know everything. People who aren't tools know this and are helpful in filling people in without acting superior.
