Will an Indian ever hold a UFC strap?

When I think of Indians, I think of IT work, and convenience stores. Go on any university campus in America. Indians are doctors, and engineers. I don't think of future UFC champion when I think of an Indian.

Why be a doctor when you could be like GSP, Al Iaquinta, or Jacob Volkmann and make millions fighting in the UFC?

BTW, Indian convenience store owners and hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant owners do way better than most people think.

This guy will be the Atom Weight Champion:

I LOL now I feel horrible

I'm Indian and what I've noticed is:

1. The only sport that gets any funding in India is cricket. If you're an athlete in another sport you get shit facilities for training. You're basically shit out of luck even if you have Jon Jones talent, since you can't hone it.

2. India is shit poor. Good luck training while you're 120lb soaking wet. Also, most good athletes have to leave their sports to support their families.

3. Indian parents 99% of the time stress school so much that athletics becomes a joke

4. Corruption. The best athletes don't get to the top. The ones with the most bribe money do.

5. Indian vegetarian diet sucks for athletics. That's why so many Indians are skinny fat even in the West.

6. Punjabis (what I am) and Afghans are much more athletic because:
- We used to be warrior cultures with a history of fighting, especially wrestling.
-We're taller on average and eat more meat

The best athlete in the world could be in India, but he'd never know it because he's either starving or his mother forced him to become a doctor.

Rajasthanis do have a warrior culture too..

Snap I forgot about those. There are a few others as well. Pubjabis, afghans, and rajistanis seem to be the major ones.

As English soldiers used to say in the 19th century, NEVER EVER go to war against Afghans...

are there even any Indian fighters in the UFC right now? Baby steps first............Asian countries like Japan and Korea are far more illustrious for combat sports than Indian and theres yet to be a champ from there in the UFC (unless u count Benson)

So failing in education due to lack of resources is the same as being incapable? Okay, gotcha!

Yeah, if a country that is autonomous for generations is failing to implement programs of basic education due to socio-economics, then you have to ask yourself what is the root of said socio-economics.

Yeah people have more important things on their minds like avoiding diarrhea to stay above 120.

Yup! In the 100s section, even. I've been to a lot of arenas in my day but could never imagine pulling that off inside Staples Center lol.

I'm from LA, so smoking weed isn't that shocking but to do it inside a sporting event (herb, not vaping) was a thrill. Concerts are one thing but there's a lot of Staff Pro around usually at games/fights/etc.

Everyone in Vancouver smokes pot. However Indians usually live in houses with 8nother people all their family sisters brothers aunts uncles dad's mom's etc..and truck driving I'd common for Indians 40 plus.

I'm Northern Burmese (Chin) and I swear the only reason there aren't more Burmese fighters is lack of opportunity, cultural promotion, and poverty.

I think against people our same size (average 5'5" to 5'8") we have some good physical attributes. Especially upper body strength.

Is this an inference to socio-economic issues being due to a lack of intelligence?
