I like how you once again have now taken the passive aggressive high road.
If you are involved in an accident and the first thing you do I run then you are a pos. If involved in an accident where you are able to run but are unwilling to check on the other occupants of cars shows a lack of basic common decency.
You can attempt to defend that behavior anyway you would like.
I may be a judgemental prick. I have never claimed to be otherwise. I will take my character as a decent human being and someone who cares about others over that of pofs like yours.

So let me get this straight, you are saying there is no possible way people could make a mistake or have ulterior motivations. You are saying that just because an off duty officer says he thinks it was Jon Jones that he is correct?
I for one will reserve judgement because I know nothing of this situation and the details surrounding it. I will also refuse to believe the word of some random persons as fact. Just cause some people who I don't know or have any connection to say something about someone in the public spotlight doesn't make it true.
I especially refuse to believe that just because someone is in a position of authority that their words should be trusted our be weighted any more heavily than anyone else because people in positions of power too frequently abuse that power and have lost my trust and complete confidence
Is there no possible way that one of Jon's friends could have been driving the car with his paperwork in it? Is it possible that the woman could have exaggerated her injuries? Is it possible that Jones rammed her car at 100 MPH high on meth while he was attempting to escape from the drug kingpin he just robbed? Has anyone ever lied while giving a police report?
In my opinion, all of these things are possible. Yet you seem to be so sure of your views and opinions that you label random strangers opinions as fact.
The fact is, you are entitled to think that way and I wont say you're a piece of shit for it or attempt to slander you in any way. However, I will continue to reserve my own judgement and encourage people to think before reacting
BTW I'm not a Jones fan and if he has done anything wrong (according to written law, not opinion) then I hope he is held accountable for his actions.

I do genuinely care about others, to a fault actually. I just care about about both sides because I am ignorant to the details of the situation and don't like to see unnecessary hatred and contempt being spread nowadays.
My hope is that when and if you are accused of something that there will be people like me who are willing to let actual facts get sorted out before jumping to conclusions and rallying up the villagers to go burn the "monsters" they know nothing about and do not understand.

The police report is pretty clear. They found paper work with his name on it. This happened in Albuquerque, where Jones lives, and his face is on billboards. Is it so difficult to believe that Jon Jones was involved in this? Seriously? I tend to have a healthy dose of skepticism, but you're in denial. If he's innocent, why hasn't he come forward and turned himself in? Why can no one even find him? Why have his lawyers not returned calls to the police?
You can glue your eyes shut if you want, but don't expect people to follow you.

And they would then fail to check with the rental car company about who rented the car? Because you need a valid drivers license to rent and they have video surveillance at premises.
If it wasn't Bones who rented the car, they would know by now and would not bother him. They probably checked that information with the rental car company 10 minutes after he fled the scene.

Okay, now you are just going off of the deep end here. I can respect someone's skepticism, but now someone that looks like Jones, forged documents and rented a car under his name, and caused this accident? Come on man.

So, if you saw video of the accident and could clearly ID Jones, would you still say you won't assume anything? I'm just trying to gauge exactly how much evidence you'd need to be convinced of something, because it really seems to be an awful lot more than most people need since it's pretty easy to draw conclusions from facts for most people.
