Yeah the thing is while it's unrealistic that Superman would rip someone's head off, it's also unrealistic he would just let someone whup his ass when he has a million ways to end the fight instantly. It ultimately ends up as an excuse for fans to have a "logical" reason as to why there guy wins. In any scenario even if Clark wants to play nice he can KO batman thousands of times faster than he can react if he needs to.No he doesnt punch guys in to a paste like he could and when he does its only bad guys in his weight class, I dont even see whats your point , he holds back and will not use his full range of powers to fight other hero characther.
If Batman got some super armor and a krypronite ring to fight Superman , Superman will make sure he doesnt hurt Bruce (probably try to restrain him or try to dissarm him) while Bruce will try to at least KO Superman (if Supes did that he will run the risk of killing Batman) , this could lead to Superman losing the fight (edit I think Superman wins BTW).
Im just saying comic logic makes more sense than VS topic logic (Superman will cut Batman head by flying at super speed) .
It's just silly to me to see these scenarios where people are like "nah bro superman would be to nice so Batman would beat him to death" Yeah probably not though, even playing nice he can incapacitate a human before they can react. Writers ignoring power sets so a fight can be more interesting shouldn't carry over to an analytical assessment of their abilities.
