Why is the UFC so against Cory vs Sean?

In simple terms you can breakdown MMA to striking and grappling

Whilst Sean's striking is excellent, his grappling is noob white belt shit and hence why he got humiliated in his last bout

At least Corey is a MIXED MARTIAL ARTIST

Not just a guy who can box/kickbox a bit but isn't actually elite in either of those to specialise in those sports

You've got your timeline all messed up. The Figgy offer was before O'Malley vs Merab was offered, for starters. So of course O'Malley couldn't have been in the conversation at that point.

Now O'Malley is out for 9-12 months according to him so yeah don't expect to see him fight Sandhagen any time soon.

1 of the top 5 guys in the division are cash cows and it's clearly Sean. Sandhagen is a tough matchup. He could beat O'Malley and do so in a way that still doesn't make him more promotable. Umar vs Merab gives one of them a loss to send them to the end of the line. I could see a Petr vs Sandhagen rematch for next title contender, similarly eliminating the loser in the process. Sean is out for a minute and will probably have one return fight before challenging for the belt again. We won't see him fight Umar, Petr, Cory or Figgy unless it's for the belt. It will be a choice matchup. Like an Aldo. A guy he should be able to beat and they can use the name recognition to market the hell out of it.

Because there's a real possiblity that Cory out-strikes Sean. Cory can also wrestle and grapple really well which is Sean's weak point. So if Cory came in and was simply better in every category, that would completely derail Sean's potential as a superstar.

What was criminal about the second Chito fight? You have people like yourself still claiming that Chito won it and could beat him. He torched Chito for 25 minutes straight and now you are bitter about it and calling Chito “meh”.

Corey’s best win was Song and a geriatric Edgar…He is 0-1 in title fights and he just lost his title eliminator fight. His resume is most certainly below the Suga Show. Aljo is much much better than any fighter that Corey has beat too.
