See? Just stupid.
Yikes. You couldn't be more wrong.
UFC: USADA cases now won't be announced until after they're resolved
"Moving forward, the promotion will no longer announce potential anti-doping violations committed by fighters – until their cases are resolved."
Speaking of "fucking stupid"...

This. We still hear about fighters getting suspended, we just don’t hear about them popping and being proven innocent (a resolved case).Usada don't have to announce infractions until resolved, correct. If a 2 year suspension had been placed on my goat and yours then it would of been resolved and announced.
Resolved does not mean at the end of the suspension lmao

"Resolved" means until they are done?
After all these years people still don't get it.Except he doesn’t take short notice fights.
Remember Chael.
You sound very knowledgeable on the matter.why even bother leaving the pool when you have a pico pass to inject some grains of salt into an olympic size swimming pool
This is a crazy theory but bear with me.
he...intends to fight HW in the near future
Ten years of this shit
don't get me wrong, the suspension angle makes a lot of sense at a high level...Always had that doubt so I went to the USADA website and from what I understood resolved means that they came to a conclusion, not that the suspension was over.
Even the link above about "USADA cases now won't be announced..." is clear when it says "the promotion will no longer announce potential anti-doping violations committed by fighters". So they won't say that fighter X was flagged until the re-do the tests, the fighter has the opportunity do defend himself and they come to an agreement.
And on the UFC Anti-Doping Policy there's even an item about Public Disclosure where it says:
"14.3.2. No later than twenty days after a decision has been rendered in a hearing in accordance with Article 8 or the right to a hearing has been waived, or the assertion of an Anti-Doping Policy Violation has not been timely challenged, UFC shall Publicly Report the disposition of the matter, including the Anti-Doping Policy violated, the name of the Athlete or other Person committing the violation, the Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method involved (if any), and the Consequences imposed.
14.3.3. Publication shall be accomplished at a minimum by placing the required information on the UFC anti-doping website (www.UFC.USADA.org) and leaving the information up for the longer of one month or the duration of any period of Ineligibility or by publishing it through other means."
And you have on USADA's website the names and suspensions of all fighters, and not just people who have already completed the suspension time.
So I don't think Jones is suspended.
It's still your legacy just because you're not the current champ in a weight division. That makes no sense. After all these years people still don't get it.
If he lost to Chael his legacy would be damaged.
No intelligent champ would take on a challenger short notice.
Any challenger would step up short notice to fight a champ.
This is a common sense thing

but, a suspension is a resolution, so by that policy they'd have said so by now.
Could there be some massive cover up going on? Sure... but in today's age, that kind of thing is so hard to keep quiet, so many leakers and squeaky wheels, I think it'd be incredibly difficult to keep that kind of thing quiet this long.
But, it makes a ton of sense on the other hand.
right, I agree. as much sense as it makes on the surface, the risk/reward and practicalities of a cover up just don't line up, in my head at least. It does but I think it's easier to believe that he's not suspended than there is a massive cover up by the UFC and USADA.
Specially since if he's going to do the time anyways, what's the point of covering it up?
Jones getting popped again has zero effect on the image of the UFC, specially since everyone knows he's a fuck up.
cases don't take years to resolve....he's not suspended. and when they are "resolved", if he was "suspended", they would report it.Yikes. You couldn't be more wrong.
