Trunp has always been a joke figure over here, mainly due to his hair (piece??).

Nobody took him seriously until he won, including myself.

At that point, it seemed to me, the tone and nature of the coverage he received from the press went from genuine criticism to all out war against him. I was so surprised by the hystercial and overblown reactions that I paid more attention to what was happening. And every time there was a new 'bombshell' moment that was the 'begining of the end of the Trump presidency', it simply turned out to be a damp squib that had been blown way out of proportion. Usually from an anonymous source.

By the time I'd sat through hours of the second impeachment and Sonderland presented his 'evidence', I'd given up any pretense that the narrative presented to the public was anything but honest.

To answer your question: I don't 'like' Trump but I do root for him simply because the MSM and most of the 'career' politicians are, for the most part, so vehemently against him.
