It has been a bad year for Liberalism. A virus comes out of a POC country because of their dietary habits. The only countries able to contain it are authoritarian. Foreigners bring it to the west. Lots of people die in the large liberal cities such as NYC and London.

The name of the disease it causes is Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Every thing else is a political or racial attempt to lay blame.

What we should remember is that every type of political party (from left wing / right wing / communist / socialist / dictatorship etc.) Failed in stopping its spread and were entirely unprepared for this despite it really being what should be one of their primary responsibilities as being the government.

I don't see a problem with Wuhan Flu or virus as it denotes geographic place of origin for purpose of tracking.

I wouldn't say it's offensive to say Chinese flu but I view it as low iq to assign an ethnicity or nationality to a virus. I mean no one in America was calling the e.coli outbreak in the US a couple years ago the "farmer virus".

I haven't heard anyone refer to it as Wuhan Virus or subsequently anyone who is offended by it. Everyone I know calls it coronavirus or covid-19.

Stating the geographic source of an illness is helpful from a historical perspective, other than that, @Edison Exotic was spot on.

I don't know anyone who raises chickens that gets offended by an illness being called "Chicken Pox".
