Arenas are not rented for just a few hours, I bet they have to rent an arena for 3-4 days to get everything setup and test, this can be expensive considering some of these fight nights will only make 6 digit gates.

Yeah APEX cards haven't been that interesting to me either. I don't think I have watched a full fight night card last year at all

Also just some advice, posting MMA guru almost never ends well on Sherdog.
I don't follow his channel or know much about him, but I have seen like 10 threads on him before and most were just negative reactions to him rather than discussing the thread topic

Maybe that's because MMA fans are the biggest meatheads with the most emotional takes devoid of logic. This isn't a grandmaster's chess forum.
