Why are a lot of MMA fans right wing?

Like the rest of the world it's actually (for the most part) split down the middle. You just see it as more right wing, because you probably lean left.

Fact of the matter is, MMA appeals largely to white males, and specifically the same subset of white male Americans as right wing American politics; the uneducated and the poor.

Obviously, MMA appeals to a lot of people who don't fit that criteria, but speaking generally you're going to find a lot of bitter, resentful, white male "victims" among the MMA fandom - think Trump without the money.
