The details of his contract were revealed during the lawsuit with Bellator. One of the few instances we got a look at a fighters contract.

Alvarez has disappointed in the UFC other than the RDA fight.. but he was a big acquisition from Bellator. PPV points were part of his original contract, I think Melendez got points as well when he came over.

Diaz got $12million for Conor 2 according to most sources.
 
Nate made over 5 million for the second fight. With ppv points Eddie will make at least 2 with his current deal.

He gets paid for PPV sales and Conor is going to drive this to 2 million buys. He's getting a huge red panty night. He didn't need to re-negotiate because he's already gonna make bank.

Yep all thanks to Conor. A Khabib vs Alvarez, Woodley vs Wonderboy card doesn't even do 500K PPV.

Instead of talking shit about Conor all the champs on that card getting PPV points should be blowing him. He just increased their paydays 10x. I think after Conor the UFC will not be giving PPV points to champs unless they headline, really JJ doesn't deserve 7 figures for this fight against KK but she is going to get it.

Because eddie literally got on his knees and begged, and eddie alvarez is a nobody in regards to UFC casuals and the general viewers.
