From the presser Conor is implying Alvarez is getting the same money as he would fighting anyone else as it's his old contract and he ain't negotiated a new one.. why didn't he do a Nate and ask for the big money? He has the belt ffs

He isnt special. He just looks special. That's why

He probably is getting a red panty night but its likely not as big as nates or what he could have gotten , i think that is what conor was alluding to.

His eyebrows are getting in the way

Because no one knows who he is, and this isn't a short notice fight

cus son is shook. Cus ain't no such things as halfway crooks

He should get PPV points as a champion but likely isn't getting the new contract he wanted.

PPV Points, he knows this the BIGGEST PPV ever most likely, he is getting paid way more than fighting Khabib either way.

Nate got 500k for his first fight with Conor and that was on short notice. My guess is Eddie will make 250k with a 250k win bonus. Still better than the 150k he got to win the title but not quite Red Panty money.

His manager done goofed, or he tried asking for more money and Dana was like fuck you then go fight Khabib.

He'll get PPV points though, so don't cry for him too much. He should just remember that more trash talk means more PPV buys.

Even before he was champion he was guaranteed PPV points.

According to the court documents, the UFC is prepared to pay Alvarez $1 for every buy the UFC receives for each PPV event in which Alvarez appears. That number goes up to $2 per buy when total buys reach 400,000-600,000, and $2.50 when it exceeds 600,000.

Something tells me Eddie isn't the sharpest crayon in the shed.

his manager should be fired.

He probably said "I don't care about money the money lol " to Dana White

largest ppv ever in all likelihood
huge payday for Eddie

Having the same base pay doesn't matter if you're fighting Conor, since getting PPV points will far exceed the base pay regardless. Eddie will make far more headlining this PPV than in any of his other fights
