Why ain't Alvarez getting a red panty night?

"Ppv points"
"Ppv money"
"500k"
"who's Eddie Alvarez?"

Am I really in a fucking mma forum? Dafuq happened? Ufc now is all about money and Conor. Nothing else exists.

I just want to see good fights and fighters getting paid what they deserve, not only a couple of fighters with big mouths.
Yeah, Conor deserves to get paid millions for his fighting skills and not by his little goof circus.

I wish people could value fighters on their skillset alone. Otherwise it's going to become a WWE show.
This is Prizefighting

That "fake reporter" needs to hop off of McGregor's nuts. And his 1-1 state is actually incorrect. Typical Mcshitty fanboy.

Nate got 500k for his first fight with Conor and that was on short notice. My guess is Eddie will make 250k with a 250k win bonus. Still better than the 150k he got to win the title but not quite Red Panty money.

Red Panty Night money is in the PPV Points, while it would had been better to have negotiated a better paycheck to show/win, PPV money is unbeatable, specially in a card like this one, this card most probably breaks PPV records, that equals record PPV points money for those that have them, like Eddie.

Because he has no business sense. He's tough but he's not smart. Surprised he's manager didn't at least try and give him the Chad Mendes deal.

Anderson Silva money. Red Panty money. Mayweather money. I wonder what happens if you combine all 3 bro.

Funny how everyone just takes Conor's word for how much Alvarez is making, without knowing anything else about the deal. You really think he's going to fight Conor on arguably one of the biggest cards ever, first in NYC and at MSG without the promise of a major payday?

His deal to lure him from Bellator was substantial including PPV points. Add to that the possibility of undisclosed bonuses and of course, that reebok championship tier money (lol) and the payday is pretty good.
But it could be more. Fighters aren't looking at the bigger picture. You think Floyd got as rich as he is now because he "settled" with a "pretty good" pay check?

what leverage does he have?

what leverage did Nate have?

ya goof

His leverage was the fact that Conor wants his belt. Conor tried to get things moving when negotiations stalled with Eddie, saying he only wanted to fight Alvarez at MSG. It is in Conor's interest also to insure that his opponents get their biggest pay day verses him. WME played hardball with Eddie, and he folded. Eddie said he took the fight on his old contract because McGregor is "easy money.", to save face.

As a champion I'm sure he's already got PPV points detailed in his contract, and this PPV is going to be huge. He's smart to not risk losing this fight by playing hardball; he's already positioned to make millions.

not the most leverage, they could have also done Conor vs Nate 3 for 205. Also the less likely Conor vs GSP

You guys don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Here's one possibility: Eddie negotiated a monster up-front bonus and figures he will have more leverage after he annihilates Conor and Dana is begging him for the Conor special: the legacy-saving redemption fight.

From the presser Conor is implying Alvarez is getting the same money as he would fighting anyone else as it's his old contract and he ain't negotiated a new one.. why didn't he do a Nate and ask for the big money? He has the belt ffs
He gets PPV points on the biggest card of all time, trust that mans gonna get paaaaayed

And if he wrestlehumps Mcgregor for 5 rounds hes going to be getting a hell of a lot of $$$$$$$$$$$$ in the future

They never around when the beef cooks/in my part of town, it's similar to Vietnam

Maybe the new owners wanted to put a stop to overpaying people that Conor's making famous?

because he gets an easy opponent.
If he wins, he can demand anything he wants and he knows it.
