This looks like a +1.5M PPV´s, Eddie must be pretty happy with whatever he might get from that, is way more than fighting Khabib on FP like he fought RDA....
 
He'll still make more money than he ever has or will in his career, he'll get a PPV cut an will make 7 figures.

But he won't get close to what Nate got, coz Eddie is replaceable, Aldo would have slotted right in had Eddie tried to play hardball.

Am I really in a fucking mma forum? Dafuq happened? Ufc now is all about money and Conor. Nothing else exists.

I just want to see good fights and fighters getting paid what they deserve, not only a couple of fighters with big mouths.
Yeah, Conor deserves to get paid millions for his fighting skills and not by his little goof circus.

I wish people could value fighters on their skillset alone. Otherwise it's going to become a WWE show.
 
Funny how everyone just takes Conor's word for how much Alvarez is making, without knowing anything else about the deal. You really think he's going to fight Conor on arguably one of the biggest cards ever, first in NYC and at MSG without the promise of a major payday?

His deal to lure him from Bellator was substantial including PPV points. Add to that the possibility of undisclosed bonuses and of course, that reebok championship tier money (lol) and the payday is pretty good.
 
He should fire his manager. Conor str8 clowned his ass on pay. It don't matter if you get PPV point.. everyone does. He doesn't know his own value and his next fight's pay will show that.

With all due respect Eddie is not making 10 mil from this fight even with a 1.6 BR.
 
Because he don't have leverage. Conor can fight anybody. Eddie is getting a smaller red panty night with his ppv points. If he tried to negotiate, they might give him Khabib instead and feed Aldo or whoever else to Conor
 
If he gets ppv points then he will get 10 million from this fight. This card is going to do 2 million buys.

Most likely used the opportunity to get a new contract to up his pay for more fights.

Asked for a lot on top of his PPV bonus and they attacked with Khabib a fight with less money by a lot and with a much lower chance of winning.

Most likely Khabib is the best fighter in the world at 155 lbs (maybe you can get a win if you catch him coming in or something like that but you lose the rematch and the rubber match, his the type of dude that beats you 9 out of 10).

He will still see 500k or 1 mill purse for this fight and even his basic PPV share should be a few millions for a card that will do great business like NY 205.
 
Not restructuring deal now could work out great for him. When he beats Conor and his deal is up, the long term deal he signs will be astronomical compared to what he is used to making. Plus, if he doesn't get his money he just leaves back to bellator as the mcgregor smasher.
 
Alvarez is going to get red panty night in the rematch. After he mauls Conor, he can ask for wayyyyy more money.
