Ronda has 4 movies I think plus another one she will star in based on her life. She would also easily beat Brock via armbar.
Lesnar among WWE and UFC fans. Ronda in terms of general publicity/mainstream.
Brock in the coveted 18-34yo male demographic.
which is more valuable is debatable.
Both brought in an annoying group of fans but at least Brock faced legitimate competition. Brock fans had reason to back him, Rousey fans are just ignorant sheep.
Someone should post old spike TV commercial with the " it's a mans world " music playing in the background lol.
Ronda is far more famous globally
Lesnar, he was a bigger PPV draw.
I think Berk is more popular now but with the way things are going for Ronda, she will surpass his popularity very soon. She needs to fight Cyborg.
Imagine if he had re-signed with UFC and they gave us Conor, Ronda and then Brock back to back to back for PPV headliners.
Ronda is the bigger star because:
Even though Ronda haters wont admit it, she is bigger star than Brock ever was.
might have to side with brock, when's the last time espn aired a decision with sticking to wrestling or coming back to the ufc? Not to mention he owns the top ppvs right now, unless it has changed recently.
Top UFC events of all time. This was as of 2014 so its a little old but here it is. Keep in mind Lesnar only had an 8 fight career.
1. UFC 100, Lesnar and GSP on the card, 1,600,000 buys
2. Lesnar vs. Carwin 1,116,000 buys
5. (Tied) Lesnar vs. Velasquez 1,050,000 buys
7. Couture vs. Lesnar 1, 010,000 buys
this pretty much says it all.
And the marketing behind Brock wasnt as big as they are giving Rousey.
I don't remember Brock being on CNN or the cover of Sports Illustrated or in Fast & Expendable 9.
uhh brock lesnar hands down
Lesnar is the bigger draw for ppv buys. He brought over a whole lot of pro wrestling fans and they actually buy ppvs unlike casuals. However, Rousey is more popular and more known around the globe because of her movies and all that. Soooo whose the bigger star? Depends on your definition of star.
Brock was huge briefly and generated a great stream of popularity, and the most buys, but Rousey brought in a lot of people who wouldn't watch otherwise to create conversation about mma, and she has had a more consistent stardom across the mainstream.
The only number that matters.
