Who will Merab's next title defense be against?

I was never really a fan of Merab until his last fight against Umar, now I'm kinda intrigued who his next opponent will be. Anybody have any guess or heard any rumors?

He literally has though. In both of his 2 title fights, two of the judges scored it 48/47 for Merab.

I don't know who it will be but as far as qualified opponents go, I think Pantoja is the most deserving guy for a double champ fight. I know people are sick of double champ talk but unlike all those other guys, Pantoja actually deserves it

Well the only ranked top 5 guy who didnt lose his last one is Yan. The next one is Sadong with a weird win against Cejudo, and a loss to Yan before that. Right now by all logic this should be Yan. And I say give him this chance, if Merab wrecks him again, he'll always have time to wreck Sean again and again. If Yan wins we get to see exciting matchups.

Yan is riding a 2 fight winning streak. The rest of the top 5 all lost their last fight.

But, they’ll probably give O’Malley the freebie instant rematch. He hasn’t fought since losing to Merab. But he probably moves the needle more than Yan.

But Yan deserves it the most right now.
