Who will be champion in each division at the end of 2025?

He's definitely the dark horse of that division. I don't see him getting past Khamzat though.

For LHW I feel like Carlos Ulberg is in the same situation.
I think he matches up well with Khamzat. He has better striking (imo). He is extremely well rounded and his physicality and chin are top notch. I know he probably cant stop the Khamzat takedown in r1 but I feel his grappling skills and toughness will be enough to drag Khamzat into deep water and drown him. If Burns is an oversized LW (as Sherdog tells me) then Borralho is an undersized LHW. I’ve heard plenty of reports about how good his hips are and how hard he is to take/keep down in the gym. Obviously Khamzat is a different beast but I for one believe that it would be an absolute fucking dogfight and I’d lean towards the dark horse.

Not to mention he was the first Fighting Nerd in the UFC and is going to continue blazing the trail for them to be staples at the top of their individual divisions (this might not seem important but Brazilians take this shit more seriously than anyone in MMA he will come in ready to die in there to win). He has good fight iq and follows his game plans well. He has a myriad of ways to beat any opponent he faces and has that dog in him which he shows every fight.

Pantoja
Umar
Ilia, I think he kos volk, movsar and lopes in 2025 and moves up to p4p #2
Islam, he prob beats arman and Oliveira in a rematch, stays #1
Belal beats shavkat, I think shavkat looked mediocre in his last fight, he beats JDM/Brady afterward
Khamzat
Pereira probably stays as champ but after he struggled with khalil for 2 rounds I can see ankalaev beating him
Aspinall is champ, Jones retires and aspinall beats Gane for a vacant belt

Don't watch WMMA so not gonna rank it
The HW belt wouldn't be vacant, Tom would just be promoted to Undisputed champ, he's already the interim.

Besides the casual misogyny, it's also just lazy to make a thread like this and not even bother with the women's divisions.

WBW: Kayla Harrison
WFLW: Valentina Shevchenko
WSW: Zhang Weili

There. Took one second.
One second, you type fast. lol. Just messing with you. But I agree, if you do the men, also do the women, it is not like there 10 choices.

HW: Vacant. No one can get a fight booked properly so all the titles get stripped.
LHW: Vacant. Pereira becomes a movie star and quits MMA
MW: Vacant. Visas and contract disputes totally stall the division, Dana loses his shit and strips the title.
WW: Vacant. Injury bug hits the division and the title gets vacated.
LW: Vacant. Ilia steps up and takes the title, then quits the game to pursue a singing career.
FW: Vacant. See above.
BW: Vacant. Umar wins the title but forgets to bribe the Russian taxman. Can't leave the country to fight so he gets his title stripped.
FlyW: Vacant. Dana finally shitcans the division.

WBW: Vacant. UFC gets sick of Pena trying to duck fights and sits her out for good.
WFly: Vacant. Valentina defends her title one last time, then retires to pursue a relationship with Halle Berry.
WSW: Vacant. Suarez wins the belt but breaks her leg the next day. Title gets vacated after she decides she's had enough injuries and retires.

115 - Weilli
125 - Natalia Silva
135 - Kayla

125- Manel Kape
135 - Umar
145 - Ilia
155 - Islam
170 - Buckley
185 - Khamzat
205 - Ankalaev
265 - Aspinall

He has the best chance. He also had Maia as his training partner and has trained with Khamzat in the past.

Definitely, worthy of bookmarking till the end of the year. Might be worth a revisit.

115 - Weilli (she will remain dominant)
125 - Natalia Silva (Valentina's days are numbered)
135 - Kayla (if Juliana can stop ducking her. Cannnot wait for her to put a beating on Juliana)

125- Manel Kape
135 - Umar (he will shut Merab's mouth)
145 - Ilia (I predicted his win against Max. He will remain dominant at 145 lbs)
155 - Islam ( as much as like Charles)
170 - Shavkat
185 - Dricus (I am the only one here predicting this by the sheer fact he is always two steps ahead of perceptions)
205 - Ankalaev (if Poatan could stop ducking him)
265 - Aspinall (if DW does not let JBJ stall)

I agree with the analysis for the most part, he’s a live dog.

But I think that foolish “Khamzat struggled against LW Burns” narrative (I’m not saying you’re saying this) is based on a big misinterpretation. Khamzat having a tough time against Burns wasn’t a matter of size, but a matter of Khamzat being forced to respect the fact Gilbert is a 3rd degree BJJ black belt that’s won medals at ADCC and other tournaments. Burns is extremely dangerous when grappling so instead of just chain wrestling him, Khamzat made it a striking fight, which isn’t his A game.

Borralho is a stud, but hasn’t got the same submission threat as Burns, so Khamzat won’t fear grappling him as much as he feared grappling Burns, especially after bullying guys like Usman and Whittaker on the ground.

It would be a very interesting fight though.

There. Took one second.
What if you don't follow or care for WMMA? So TS (like many others)may not have an educated opinion, so he left it out
