I'm surprised someone said Alexander was better at nation building considering he didn't rule for that long and his empire splintered as soon as he died.

Well, the Mongols only had Samarkand as a city that which they built from the ground up. And Genghis didn't have any part in it.

I'm not a Conan expert but I'm guessing he had some losses in battles in the books while Alexander was young prime Vitor.

alexander isnt in the same league as genghis. i dont suppose anyone is, really. england's empire would eventually be larger than his, but it took centuries for england to take what they did. genghis took most of that during his lifetime. conquered the two most advanced societies on earth before he died.
