Who in the heck is watching the UFC?????

I have one coworker who is into it. He trains and his son actually fought in the UFC. Aside from that I don't know anyone who watches anymore. I work Saturday nights so I just read the pbp on here.
Similar. I usually catch the co main if the card starts early enough. Usually it's in too late for my old ass to stay up and watch

This is the match that got me into slappin'

Yoooo beardless Wolverine fam

Dats di Slap equivalent of watchin' MMA since di 90s respect OG 🫵🏿🤴🏿

Watered down cards
Prices increasing constantly.

Problem is, the peak was Pride and when the UFC bought out Strikeforce

I'm 40 and been watching since 95 or so.

My buddies don't watch anymore. Their pussy, weak bitch teenage and early 20's kids don't watch it

The old farts aren't watching. It's never on at bars / restaurants anymore, at least from what I can tell.

I definitely don't watch anymore - DFW has ruined something that he built that used to be awesome. It's akin to something like a Stretch Armstrong where the original one was incredible but after it got mass produced it became this bumbling pile to rubber goo that no one wanted to buy anymore.

Just who exactly is watching UFC? Is it truly just a product that earns revenue now for simply being on television spamming ads for whatever stupid bullshit?? I honestly have no clue who watches

I'm not saying no one watches, obviously someone is, I just don't know who. It's like the sport has vanished but at the same time more popular than ever? Our local watering hole doesn't even get posters for big events anymore.

The modern UFC can suck on my balls. Thank you
Kind of like when WWE went ad friendly, they became bigger than ever, but it lost its steam from the attitude era with big ppv numbers and huge tv ratings

I have friends who will watch, but I don't need that to enjoy watching. If you need people in your life to enjoy it with you, it's probably not for you.

Agreed but you don’t have the moments like when you all bet the black beast against volkov. The celebration was like the Chicago bears won the Super Bowl. Good times

In my late forties and been watching since UFC 1

I’m also 6’4 with 3% body fat and undefeated in street fights and bar brawls. I also train UFC too

TKO is and UFC's earnings are reported.

Last year before they went private.

I'm not stupid. I 'll be damned if I'm gonna pay actual money to sit through a UFC card just because it has visuals when I already have the opportunity to refresh the shit outta the sherdog play-by-play page in my browser every 10 seconds and all I gotta do is sift through 12 million ads about toenail fungus cures and links to post fight interviews for events that happened 15 years ago to read about some fucking sick KO's
<{JustBleed}>

Ive said this before on here

Idk barely anyone who watches, I don’t even like telling people (like co-workers) thats what I have planned on certain weekends

Even the gym I go get my rolls in, hardly anybody there watches either

I watch the cards. My friends watch the cards. My brother watches the cards. We usually all split the PPVs, food and drinks each month when we get together. We've been doing this for close to 20 years now.

Can’t remember the last time I watched a full card, I tuned in for a couple of Volk fights recently (15 minutes a piece), that’s about it.

UFC has no stars I wanna tune in for.

PRIDE had like 30 fighters I would tune in for, at least.

Am I chopped live to you TS?

Im in a big group text/DM with about 6 degenerate sports gamblers and MMA/UFC is the one sport we all watch and bet on

"there's just too many cards and they are all watered down!"

:: week goes by with no fights ::

REEEEEEEE

More of my mates watch than ever. Over the last 2 years 1 of my mates has hosted every ppv with 5-15 people attending.

I kind of like watching by myself
When I’m with people there’s always somebody asking dumbass questions about everything
It kind of ruins the experience when you have to constantly explain everything to a casual
