Honestly, I was expecting better from their part. Only a couple of them actually delivered some solid insight. For the rest just blanket fanboyism and lot of hipocrisy as well
 
Oh, and not ONE single GSP fan in here has acknowledged that Fitch was #3 (at best), not #2, when they fought. Alves was #2 for knocking out Hughes the month before Fitch and GSP fought. Weird, huh?

You got to the point of taking pride in the nº of GSP fanboys you can gather in a thread in sherdog. That's all you can boast here, most of them got exposed as either hypocrites and dishonest, undeducated or striaght up idiots, especially the most active and babbling ones

You embody all of them.
Three conclussions we take from this thread:

1. Two flawless performances vs credited tittle contenders, one ends by legit stoppage the other doesnt.

2. Fitch and Okami were comparable caliber of competition. Whatever difference might be doesnt justify claiming that decision > stoppage

Fitch was seen as a more of a challenge for the champion, which given the facts presented above, it refflects the superiority of Silva above his peers, especially at the point in time these two fights took place, Silva coming off front kicking Belfort as opposed to GSP tapping to strikes to Matt Serra not that long ago.

It’s pretty clearly Fitch. Don’t get me wrong alkali was a great win too but just read what you wrote about Fitch TS. That’s a man who easily would have been a reigning champion if GSP had not existed. I’m not as sure that Okami would have been champion without Silva as there were always MWs that might have beaten him

Which was the best win :

1. Silva's win against Okami (tko round 2)
Okami was ranked number 2 MW in some medias at the time, stayed at that spot for about 2-3 months. He was on a 3 fights win streak at the time. He also lost his very next fight against Boetsh then went 3-1 before moving to the minor leagues.

2. GSP's win against Fitch (UD 50-43, 50-44, 50-43)
Fitch was ranked number 2 WW in all mma medias at the time and stayed at that spot for around 3 years. He was also ranked top 10 p4p in some mma medias. He was on a 16 fights winning streak at the time. After the fight, he went 5-0-1 before losing to Hendricks.

It's indeed impressive, but how isn't Okami's impressive when he actually had more ranked wins in UFC, leading up to the tittle fight and also in their whole UFC stint?

Silva finished the fight, GSP didnt. The caliber of competition was comparable. Cut the BS or just say clear that u root for the Canadian

I feel like Fitch was a more impressive win because nobody was debating the fact that Fitch was the clear number 2 WW at that time.

Impressive is subjective I guess so nothing to argue there, thanks for the honesty which many of the fanboys around here don't have

Yeah nothing to argue agasint PED, I think GSP has the best case for non-proven cheater GOAT, along with Fedor and Aldo
