Nick was much, much, much harder to beat though. He never got smacked around by anyone like Nate did vs Masvidal or McGregor, or thrown around like vs McDonald, RDA, & Benson. Even in his loss to GSP he was more subdued than beaten up.

Conversely, Nate showed more heart (including in the fights above). Nick would get frustrated & wasnt great at cutting the ring off, whereas Nate would adapt & dig deep, win or lose

You forget where they threw in the towel against Josh Thomson.

Nick knocked out Robbie Lawler, tapped out Gomi and Sakurai, KO'd Daley, finished roid monkey Tibau, and outstruck BJ Penn.

Nate has a legit resume too, but Nick has some fights where you really just gotta see to believe it. The Gomi fight at the time was fucking bonkers. Daley was a monster, Lawler was knocking people out left and right, Mach is a legend.
