What's up with Dricus nickname?

Got it now. Good shit.

It's fun that he's repping his country in every way possible, and it doesn't hurt that 'Stillknocks' sounds badass even if you don't have any idea of the backstory.
I guess it's really the South African name for Ambien, but the analogy doesn't change a lot. Dricus is apparently prescription strength!

It's Ambien. He should just change his nickname to the American brand.

His parents wanted to name him after Olympic event Discus but misspelt it.

It's the South African version of Nyquil.

Puts you to sleep

Still knocks is a South African brand sleeping medication. Why tf has Sean been calling him Dutchman?
I honestly think it’s Strickland trying to rally the African fans like he did Australia/NZ against Izzy.
Only this time I don’t think it’s working out the way he wants it to, it’s just coming across desperate.

He should call himself 'Diamond' Dricus du Plessis, or DDDP, to distinguish him from the real DDP.

It's like St-Pierre's nickname "Rush", it's technically his nickname but nobody used it and just called him by his acronyms, GSP, DDP.

Dricus "stillknocks" Du Plessis. What does stillknocks mean? I might be way out of the loop on this one, but I don't know. Been thinking about it too.

Is it a breaking bad call back?

Or what is it? It sounds cool though.

There's a rumor that Bryce changed his nickname to Bryce "Third Reich" Mitchell.

SA was colonized by the dutch, but isn't DDP still having french heritage?
Yes, Duplessis is a noble French family name if i'm not mistaken , Plessis is an area/commune in the northern area of France , the surname means basically ..coming from Plessis.
