He's faster and hits harder, but Jon so crafty man. This is challenging for sure, which is why the fans should get it and Jon should stop being a duck or just retire man.
So you're saying Tom should aim eye (stage left) first and then eye (stage right) second? Good call, solid strategy and unpregnable gameplanThere have been fights with one and sometimes two blinding eye pokes with no penalty. Max poked Justin twice pretty bad. No one seems to mention this, but I noticed Leon is a pokey guy in his fights.
There really is nothing but the fighter's own ethical principles that prevents intentional eye pokes, which is ridiculous. They really need to make some consequences. It's quite difficult to fight after a good eye poke.
Tom has the power to knock Jones out, and he likely will do it standing. Tom will just have to watch out for outstretched fingers.
Tom might have to take roids to keep up with Jones. The UFC isn't using a real testing body these days, so who knows what that leads to in this fight.
100% agree when the round starts just be super aggressive go for his chin and follow up, the biggest danger for Tom is getting taken down but even then It's not like Tom is Gane he is actually good on the ground, really the only way I see Tom losing is anxiety and second guessing himself.Tom has to fight like he always does and let go from the start and be aggressive, he can't change because its Jon Jones.
I know what Jones and Greg Jackson are like, they will make a gameplan based on Tom has never ever been past 7 minutes in his entire career and has never been put on his back. They will try to make the fight slow at the start and be cautious and then start to push the pace as it goes longer and get Tom blown up and finish him in later rounds. So Tom must not be patient and cautious because its Jones, he should try to finish the fight early like always and let go. If he plays the waiting game I fear he will get taken to school.
then they will end up in the clinch earlyBe aggressive. Never back up.
