What movies have not aged well?

Rambo 3 and The Living Daylights have been a little awkward over the past 18 years.

No no, remember he was a moron who thought he made his family disappear with a wish.

Couldn't have been that much of a moron, considering the traps he set and how he strung his plan together. In actual fact, the movie kind of gave him genius level intelligence in some respects. He just happened to also believe in santa.
With your reasoning, a mobile phone still wouldn't help. Because he was a moron.....

The scene where Harison Ford's with his shirt off beating up like 20 Indian guys in a row was one of the most racist scenes ever.

Why is that racist?

*oh I see, 20 Indians starting on a single white man, yep I can see how you think that's racist. Well, those 20 Indians are racist anyway. Poor white man was the obvious victim there.

Blame it on Rio
Weekend at Bernie's
Major League
Field of Dreams
ET
Forrest Gump
My Cousin Vinny
Majpr League?? Why, no extremely gay character?

That movie is timeless.

This thread is packed with terrible examples.

LOL at any choice based on "Oh that's not PC now."

Terrible.

A League of thier Own

What are some movies that haven't aged well? Whether because of political/societal reasons, technology reasons, or that just do not look as good as they may have in the past (poor animation, CGI, costumes, etc.).

A movie that immediately comes to mind is Juwanna Mann. A humorous movie that pokes fun at the idea of a man playing sports with women and dominating. In 2002, we found it funny because we found the idea of this happening to be ridiculous. This is no longer a joke nor is it politically correct to make fun of.

What are others?

Every single van damme movie.
Bloodsport came on once, I told my eldest "watch this it's great".
My, how some things are best left in the past.....

What?! I thought Bloodsport was one of those classics... the the Ferris Bueller's day off of martial arts.

Now Universal Soldier on the other hand is probably a whole dumpster fire.

The matrix reloaded and revolution.

It's just fucking nonsense largely.

When the Asian guy guarding the oracle says to neo... "You don't really know someone until you fight them" even Neo gives him a look to say "da fuq you talking about?!? This is nonsense..."
Yeah those movies were trash but time didn’t make them any worse. Most people hated them back then too

Why couldn't they have used landlines, I don't remember did the crooks cut the phone lines

We were talking about this the other night while watching Home Alone. Woman gets into a van with a band for a road trip. Scary old man approaches a little boy (who had slept over with Michael Jackson) and sits with him in an empty church. Two men are after a boy. None of this bothered us when we first saw the film, but we all were uncomfortable this time. Times have changed.
